We love Rachel Bilson's
blouse. And her skirt
is really cute.

But her bag in insanely
large...too large for her
tiny frame.

Unbelievably chic.

Sarah Chalke At The Creative Arts Emmys

SarahChalkeEmmys.jpgWe've got Emmy leftovers! We absolutely loved the dress that Sarah Chalke (Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother) wore to the Creative Arts Emmys (the ceremony held a week before the Primetime Emmy Awards).

Two Girls, One Show, The Same Dress

Well this is interesting...seems Candace Bushnell (writer of Sex and the City), wore a Michael Kors dress to the DVD release party for the Sex and the City movie. And it's the same dress that Kristin Davis wore while doing press for the movie back in May.

The dress if from the Fall 08 collection...wonder if Candace actually borrowed it from Kristin?

Get The Look Of: The Duchess Movie

duchess.jpgLong before the concept existed, the Duchess of Devonshire, Georgiana Spencer, was the original "It Girl." Played by Keira Knightley in the new movie The Duchess, the gorgeous costumes in the film have us craving 18th Century Style: ruffles, lace, rosettes and romance.  Here are some of our favorite pieces that perfectly blend the look with a modern sensibility:

The Not-So-Good Dresses of the 2008 Emmy Red Carpet

2008Emmysworst.jpgWe're not loving the color of Julia Louis Dreyfuss' dress and we hate to say it, but Christina Applegate's look was not our favorite...maybe if it had a full ballgown skirt.  Christina Derosa is also on our worst-dress list (for obvious reasons we think) and we weren't enamored with Eva Longoria's slicked down hair and ultra-pointy pumps.

Editor's Note: Confusion hit the red carpet Sunday night as many entertainment and fashion news sources (even us!) posted photos of Christina Derosa, thinking she was actually My Name Is Earl's Alyssa Milano (check out the proof here)

Best Dressed At The 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards

The red carpet fashion was fantastic at last night's Emmy Awards. The stars did not disappoint and pulled off some amazing looks. Here are our faves.

Stars Wore Solid, Simple & Stylish Dresses

2008Emmysbest.jpg
A bold punch of color was definitely the look of choice. Brooke Shields (our favorite look of the night) wore a ruffled fuchsia Badgley Mischka dress and the Lipstick Jungle star couldn't have looked better. And we love that she kept true to her style and wore her hair down - it was gorgeous. Law and Order SVU's Mariska Hargitay was also glowing in a beautiful canary yellow goddess dress by Carolina Herrera. Cynthia Nixon won an Emmy for her appearance on SVU and looked fresh and elegant in a simple robin egg's blue Calvin Klein number. And Desperate Housewives' Nicolette Sheridan was a surprise red carpet standout in a radiant royal purple Angel Sanchez strapless gown.

Red Carpet Trend: Champagne-Colored Dresses

2008Emmyschampagne.jpg
Evangeline Lily (Lost) wore Elie Saab Haute Couture, Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives) also wore Elie Saab and Olivia Wilde (House) wore Reem Acra.

All three opted for dresses in a light bronze champagne hue, which we absolutely love, but the silhouettes of their dresses are all completely different. We can't choose a favorite!

Hit or Miss? Anne Hathaway in Oscar de la Renta

MissAnneHathaway.jpg

Anne Hathaway wore Oscar de la Renta and Christian Louboutin shoes to the Hollywood premiere of her new movie, Rachel Getting Married, for which she is beginning to receive Oscar buzz.

What do you think? Was this dress a hit or a miss? We have to say we think the fabric is lovely, but isn't the silhouette a bit unflattering?

Jennifer Garner and Kate Beckinsale = Awkward Fashion Moment

JenGKateB.jpg

Kate Beckinsale showed up to The 4th Annual Pink Party to Benefit Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Institute in a show-stopping designer dress.

So what was Jennifer Garner thinking wearing jeans to a red carpet event?

Was Kate overdressed? Jennifer underdressed?

Awkward.
