Celebrities flocked to the White House Correspondent's dinner last week in Washington, D.C. and even though there was no red carpet, everyone pulled out all the stops. Padma Lakshmi (she had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction), Demi Moore, Eva Longoria and Natalie Portman were all in attendance.

These looks from Monday night's gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art were just too good to pass up. We adored all of them. Sure, there were some off-the-wall looks, but mostly everyone just looked stunning.

Hayden Panettiere, Sophia Bush, Heidi Klum, Leighton Meester and Zoe Saldana all chose darker shades for the premiere of Star Trek. Leighton and Zoe's shoes are pretty similar, huh?
After a brief departure, Anne Hathaway is Best Dressed again! At Monday night's Met Gala, Anne returned to form in a gorgeous silky aubergine Marc Jacobs dress. The gala is the event of the year to really wear experimental fashion and the lenth of this cocktail dress is definitely a risk, but we just think Annie looks so pretty.

Helena Christensen doesn't get the style credit she deserves. She's really mastered wearing daring designs and classic pieces (hey, she did wear one of our favorite classic looks ever featured on this blog). Here she is in Marc Jacobs Spring 09. Not the most flattering print in the world, but she wears it well.
