Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried and Diablo Cody (sporting a new platinum pixie cut) were all looking chic and sleek at the premiere of Jennifer's Body. We really like Amanda's look here, although it's an interesting choice for a movie premiere, it's very Chanel and we really like the combination of navy and black right now.

One Tree Hill star, Sophia Bush, at a recent CW event, looked like she stepped out of a different decade...And we love it! These floral and ultra-feminine dresses have a 50s appeal that we really like.Patio Bouquet Dress, $22.80 at forever21.com

Not quite as exciting as the Oscars or SAG Awards, but the red carpet at the Primetime Emmys are always fun because the looks are wearable and the trends are usually easy to pull off in our everyday look. Here are our picks for best dressed and best trends of the night.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the solid, rich colors that Julia Louis Dreyfuss, Mila Kunis and Ginnifer Goodwin wore on the carpet. We also like the unconventional sweetheart necklines each dress had.
Kristen Chenoweth (who won Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series), Sandra Oh and Mariska Hargitay all played it safe, but still spectacular, in one of the biggest trends of the last few red carpet seasons: metallics.
Romantic looks were also everywhere last night...Olivia Wilde, Kate Walsh and Drew Barrymore have this look nailed down.

Whitney Port must really love her Prada bag because she reaches for it again and again during the year. The girl worked at DVF, plus she has her own fashion line and she makes a lot of money from her MTV show, The City. So she could certainly get her hands on another handbag. So she either really loves it or she's very smart about money and investing in a quality piece that she can use year after year. Or both! Bravo to her.

Wearing a dress from Marc Jacobs' Resort collection, Ginnifer Goodwin looks a little severe in this photo, but we like the overall look. She didn't change much; she kept the dress as is and even slicked back her hair just like the model. She should have worn those shoes though! They are a-mazing.photos via style and instyle
As we mentioned earlier this week, we were pretty unimpressed with the fashion at this year's VMAs. However, there were a couple of red carpet success stories and popular trends we noticed. Oddly enough, they were all worn by girls from The Hills...and Katy Perry.
Nothing groundbreaking here, but Kristin Cavallari, Katy, Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth all looked very nice and right on trend. We've found similar looks from Shop She Boutique, check it out.

"Dear Stella McCartney...would it be okay if I chop three feet off of the bottom of your gown? Thanks, Rachel"Is it just us, or do you like the model version better? We love, love, love the cut out neckline of this Stella McCartney dress (and obviously so did Rachel McAdams), but we sort of like the full ballgown effect of the original dress, particularly how it puddles on the floor.
Couldn't Rach have worn this dress as is somewhere?

Monday night's Video Music Awards on MTV was bananas. And we're not talking about the Kanye/Taylor Swift drama. We're talking about the crazy looks on the red carpet. Let's break them down:Lady Gaga...there are no words.
Jennifer Lopez wore an ill-fitting Louis Vuitton dress with cut outs with Christian Louboutin booties (do you see her serious ponytail?). And Kanye's on-again girlfriend, Amber Rose, who we have enjoyed on the red carpet before, got it all wrong in her python bodysuit.
Beyonce's red Roberto Cavalli mini needed just a few more inches on the bottom. And Pink and Shakira looked great in Balmain...except for, well...yeah.
How old is Camilla Belle? 22 years old? She certainly dresses well beyond her years. She always looks perfectly polished and chic.Yeah, we're a little jealous. So what?Silk Tricotine Robin Dress, $195 at jcrew.com
Laltramoda Pink Belt, $75 at yoox.com
M by Marinelle Effect Pump, $59.95 (on sale) at DSW.com

Freida Pinto rocked a tiered black Christopher Kane dress at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London the other night, which reminded us of another tiered Christopher Kane creation we saw lately that we also loved...on Emma Watson. His tiered dresses are ultra feminine and VERY flattering. We think he's definitely a designer to watch!
