When it comes to the CW's Gossip Girl we must admit we can't decide whether we're more excited for the drama or the clothes. With each new season the characters' personal style seems to evolve, and in turn, to inspire a thousand trends.
We're currently enamored with Taylor Momsen's character Jenny Humphrey's style. Jenny adds flair to basic looks with her rocker chic pieces. We fell hard for her Catherine Malandrino leather motorcylce jacket and the studded Garbo Satchel by Be & D seen above.Though worn by a teen on the show, these gems could spice up any adult wardrobe. We love these Jenny inspired pieces!

The key to achieving this look is to use neutral colors to build your layers. Gray, black and nude is a sophisticated palette that works well on top of simple basics like dark-rinse denim and white T-shirts. The key is to have many elements to your outfit that are all working together and not have one piece that stands out among all the rest.
We really like Sienna Miller for this. We're pretty sure celebs are under a lot of unnecessary pressure to always wear a new outfit for every public appearance. So we think it is super refreshing to see Sienna sport the same shoes and handbag over and over again.
How cute is Michelle Williams? She was spotted walking around Manhattan a few weeks ago in this adorable ensemble that we think is perfect for cool/sunny days in between summer and fall. It's perfect! 
Drew Barrymore looked confident and sexy at recent screenings of her new movie (also the first movie she's directed) Whip It. The movie stars Ellen Page, but Drew is stealing the show on the red carpet!
Sienna Miller rocked these white men's oxfords all summer long. How she managed to keep them clean we'll never know. Looks like she also got a lot of good use out of her merlot-colored satchel. The middle look is still our fave, but for those of us who don't have legs that look exactly like Sienna's, it's nice to know that the oxfords look equally cute with baggy boyfriend jeans (photo on left)!
Natalie Portman recently stepped out in wide-leg trousers and a tunic underneath a blue cape and silk neck scarf. It's something we would NEVER think to do on our own, but it's kinda stylish, right?
We're seeing a pattern here. Charlize Theron, Anne Hathaway ,Christina Applegate and Jennifer Garner all wore autumnal solid colors to events recently.Coincidence? Maybe. But we're definitely sensing a trend here.
Freida Pinto looks lovely here. We're not crazy about the bag with the dress (actually, we're really not crazy about the bag at all), but what we do really think is cute is her simple black and white look - black opaque tights with black flats and a white dress with just a hint of black on top. Add black accessories like a couple of chains and some shades and we think this is a great look that can transition from day to night.
