As Seen On: Thandie Newton in Prabal Gurung

comments

Designer Prabal Gurung is definitely having his moment. From Demi Moore, to Leighton Meester, to Thandie Newton, the young designer's looks have been popping up all over Hollywood and the red carpet.

Above is one of our favorite looks, seen on Thandie Newton at the 2012 premiere, from Gurung's Spring 2010 Ready-to-Wear Collection. We love the black and white print and the sleek black trim along the edges. Even with the print and the bow the look is still simple and chic.

Red Carpet: New Moon Premiere

We can't resist a good love story, which is why we can't wait for The Twilight Saga: New Moon movie to come out on Friday. Here Ashley Greene, Kristen Stewart, and Dakota Fanning show off our favorite looks from Monday's red carpet at the Los Angeles Premiere.

Blake Lively Takes the Plunge

comments

As evidenced above Blake Lively has no problem taking the plunge. As in plunging necklines. From the Emmy Awards where she wore a plunging red Versace dress, to the premiere of The Private Lives of Pipa Lee where she wore a low cut Marchesa jacket, Blake likes to add a little drama.

Although the look can be hard to pull off and still look tasteful, we think Blake has worn this look well. What do you think? Sizzling or scandalous?

Red Carpet: 30th Anniversary MOCA Gala

Kate Beckinsale, Eva Mendes, Ciara, and Rose McGowan get our vote for the best dressed at the 30th Anniversary MOCA Gala. Whether long and luxe, or short and chic, these ladies know that a great look is all in the fit.

Halle Berry Keeps it Haute

comments
Halleberry.jpg

A friend once told me that Halle Berry was like Benjamin Button in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. At first we had no idea what she meant, and then it hit us: Halle is an ageless beauty that keeps looking better and better as time goes on.

At left she stays chic while out on the town in leggings, a tunic, and fitted leather jacket, while at right she works it at a red carpet event sequined Kaufmanfranco cocktail dress. The key to her style success is that she chooses figure flattering silhouettes in monochromatic hues.

Trendspotting: The Sequin Blazer

sequinblazers.jpg

The stars have taken to the streets with the newest "It" item in night time dressing: The Shimmery Blazer. With a bevy of looks to create with this outerwear rock star, the trend is showing up everywhere from red carpet events to museum openings.

Kerry Washington wears her Narcisco Rodriquez lurex blazer over a print sheath to make her look pop, while Emma Roberts and Lauren Conrad keep their looks muted in solid colors using their sequin blazers as a statement piece.

However you decide to wear it, this is one Fall essential that will add new life to old pieces in your closet. We're currently loving Bebe's All Over Sequin Blazer

Christina Aguilera Gets Bobbed

comments
christinaaguilerabob.jpg

The internet has been buzzing about Christina Aguilera's new bob, and we know why. With her blunt cut and wispy side swept bangs this look is hot. What makes it most appealing is that it is a style that would easily look good on many women. Throw in the perfect platinum hue of her tresses and signature red lips, and it looks like Christina has re-invented herself yet again.

Red Carpet: Glamour Magazine Women of the Year Awards

comments
glamourmagawards.jpg

The looks on the red carpet for Glamour Magazine's Women of the Year Awards were rich and dramatic just like we like. Model and Entrepreneur Iman went all out in a  feathered Jason Wu feather dress, while Katherine McPhee stayed sleek in a cobalt grecian gown.

Still, it was Glamour's 2009 Woman of the Year Rihanna who stole the show in her Stéphane Rolland Couture gown and Cartier jewels.

As Seen On: Rachel Bilson in Harlow-Monroe

rachelbilsonbluejacket.jpg

We've been salivating over Rachel Bilson's atlantic blue motorcycle jacket from Harlow-Monroe ever since we first laid eyes on it. Even though it sold out (why wouldn't it with Rachel as its spokesperson), we have decided to take her fashion cue and buy a standout Fall jacket in a bright hue.
