Do you think Katie's rolled denim look is better with flats or heels? We prefer the look with flats, but we're also noticing another trend, Katie is always wearing the same belt!

This look is unpolished and unsophisticated. Totally unbefitting of a woman who drops $350 on a Burberry baby dress. She looks like a hobo, not like a woman who spends thousands of dollars a day on clothing.
I am all for comfort, but gag me. Katie looks like a total slob.
We just returned from the MAGIC Apparel Market in Las Vegas where we saw some of the newest trends in denim. There were several brands showcasing the rolled boyfriend fit, but I'm not sure that there were many buying it. It looked sloppy and was unflattering even on the skinniest people there.
I prefer a rolled jean with a heel as it dresses the look up a bit. In this case, the belt is important to keep the pants up, but if the jeans fit properly, a pretty printed or floral sash adds more interest and of course a lovely, classic feminine touch.
I'm in agreement with the negative comments. This is a look that should never have been dredged out of the cesspool of fashion that was the 80's. I can not understand why people would look to the 80's for any sort of fashion inspiration. Leave your pegged and rolled jeans back where they belong.
