From deep jewel tones to lovely lavender, there was a purple haze on the red carpet at last night's Emmy Awards. Some notable hits included Evangeline Lilly's and Leah Remini's gorgeous plum Versaces and Ellen Pompeo's velvet gown from John Galliano for Christian Dior. There were very few misses to be found, though Cheryl Hines' bejeweled purple frock was one.

I thought everyone looked gorgeous last night. Katherine Heigl was one of my favorites from head to toe. I also loved Sandra Oh's look with the piled on jewelry, though I'm sure the reviews will be mixed for her look.
I thought Portia De Rossi's Zac Posen dress was stunning.
