Red Carpet

LeightonChloe.jpg

Leighton Meester wore a Chloe mini (actually a tunic) from the summer ready-to-wear line (we're pretty sure the clutch is Chloe too).

It's available on neimanmarcus.com for a whopping $5,350.00.
SATCLondon.jpgThe ladies of the Sex and the City movie did not disappoint on the red carpet at the London premiere of the film. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall all went for the wow factor, although Sarah Jessica probably accomplished it the best. Kristin Davis looked nice, but almost as if she had dressed for an event in the Hamptons.

For more on Sarah Jessica's dress (and hat) check out Star Style on stylebakeryteen.com.
Our Favorite Look Of the Night: Swirly Ruffles

SwirlGirls.jpgDesigner Phillip Lim calls them swirls and they were EVERYWHERE on last night's red carpet. Our favorites gauzy ruffled gowns were worn by model Chanel Iman (Phillip Lim) and Eva Longoria Parker (Marchesa - although it's getting really easy to spot a Marchesa dress).

Eva was a standout on the red carpet along with Kate Mara, who also wore a ruffled gown with a long train (but in bright yellow).

We Wanted To Love Them and We Did

CostumeGala.jpgCamilla Belle, Diane Kruger, Christina Ricci and Gisele Bundchen all stood out on the red carpet.....in a good way. We especially love Diane's pewter colored mini. Christina's dress kind of reminds us of a Valentines Day card, but we like it anyway.

Check out so many more amazing photos at style.com.

We Wanted To Love Them and We Didn't

CostumeGalabad.jpgKatie Holmes (electric blue pumps?), Thandie Newton and Maggie Gyllenhaal seriously missed the mark.

She's been wearing ultra-mini dresses at almost every red carpet event from Iron Man, but at the latest one, Gwenyth Paltrow decided to wear a Stella McCartney pantsuit! We happen to think she looks very sophisticated in this look. But it's a little strange that she can't hold her own clutch (see the man in the background carrying it for her?).

We think that's a Hugo Boss Boss Black clutch by the way.

CandaceLori.jpg

Former Full House stars, Candace Cameron-Burr and Lori Loughlin recently attended the Cool Comedy - Hot Cuisine Fundraiser Gala (the same event Cobie Smulders wore the wrong boots to).

They both look really well put together (and pretty much the same since their Full House days!), but we prefer Candace's dress to Lori's.

Rumor has it Lori is coming back to television in a remake of 90210. The show will focus on the lives of a group of well-off kids and their parents with lots of drama.....How is that different from The O.C. exactly?

MichelleKwan.jpg

Rarely do athletes and fashion mix well, but we can safely say that we really liked the dress Michelle Kwan wore to a recent event sponsored by the Women's Sports Foundation.

It's got a very pretty art-deco inspired neckline and is a very flattering length for her short stature. We love the colors of the dress, her shoes and her makeup. We only wish her hair wasn't so done up.

Also, a really interesting clutch would look great against the plain part of her dress. Maybe she's holding one behind her back...

LindsayPriceblue.jpgRemember Cobie Smulder's very wrinkled blue silk dress? Well, turns out Lindsay Price wore it first, a while back when she was promoting Lipstick Jungle. And it was just as wrinkled!

CobieSmuldersboot.jpg
How I Met Your Mother star, Cobie Smulders got it only halfway right again. We really like her wrap dress, but the dark boots don't match the print and they also feel really out of season. A caramel-colored boot would have looked so much better.

1. Delman Luisa-Csh boot, $332 (on sale) at zappos.com

2. Enzo Angiolini Tallin boot, $206.10 (on sale) at zappos.com

Try harder next time, Cobie. Catch How I Met Your Mother tonight on CBS.

CobieSmulders.jpg
From the waist up, How I Met Your Mother star, Cobie Smulders, looked amazing at the Hollywood premiere of Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Unfortunately, the bottom of her dress was insanely wrinkled. Someone get her a steamer quick. Also, we wish she'd worn metallic high-heel sandals.

Cynthia Nixon, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis all looked lovely at New York City benefit for the Point Foundation. We like Sarah Jessica and Kim's champagne and blush colored dresses best.

The two costars, who have been plagued by rumors that they strongly dislike each other, seemed to get along great, despite an awkward moment between them. We imagine the conversation went something like this:

Sarah Jessica Parker: "Wait, I lost my earring! Don't step on it."
Kim Catrall: "It's okay, we're both super rich. We can buy all the earrings we want. Let's hug."
