We absolutely love this Rachel Roy color block dress (or maybe it was a skirt and top) Lucy Liu recently wore, although the exact name for the type of collar she wore escapes us. Is it a Peter Pan collar? A bib collar? A circus collar? We'll just call it a Lucy Liu collar.

KatieWu.jpgKatie Holmes attended the premiere of Valkyrie in Tokyo with a new long hairstyle and rocking a dress from Jason Wu's fall 2009 collection. Wu was practically an unknown designer before Michelle Obama chose to wear his white one-shoulder gown on inauguration night.

We would have loved to have seen the dress on Katie without the leggings and different shoes than those colorful pumps, but we're excited for her new glam look.

First Lady Gazing: Michelle Obama Turns It Up A Notch

We're not quite sure we should call her a star, but we've been stargazing in Michelle Obama's direction and we're really impressed. The First Lady has stepped up her game since moving into the White House. From her beautifully draped plum Narciso Rodriguez number, to full on glamor in Peter Soronen with pearls. We weren't a huge fan of the green Kai Milla number she wore recently (compared to the other two formal looks, that is), but we absolutely loved her hair curly!

Michelle showed us what we love most about her style when she mixed a tweed skirt with a sea foam green cardigan, a blue jewel toned belt and deep red heels. She mixes and matches things so effortlessly and it's still a little quirky and unique.
