Steal This Style: Hyori Lee's Answer to Global Warming

Hyori Lee

Hyori Lee, a popular singer from South Korea, recently filmed a commercial in New York City in this adorable outfit. Her layering is really clever actually, especially for that tricky time of year (right now) when it's too cold to not bundle up, but a coat isn't really necessary. Hyori...well, probably her stylist, used her accessories to keep covered up and warm. We especially love the Jefferey Campbell boots we found and the scarf from oldnavy.com.

Steal This Style: Jennifer Connelly in Alexander McQueen

Jennifer Connelly looked polished and stunning at the recent Hollywood Film Festival's 11th Annual Hollywood Awards in Beverly Hills, CA. We love the bright coral color of her dress, but decided to use a pumpkin shade for our version. Happy Halloween!

Steal This Style: Katie Holmes' Easy Chic

Katie Holmes

Katie Holmes recently wore a voluminous trench coat in Paris and we loved it! We can't tell if it is a trench coat dress or just a very full coat, but it looks so comfortable. For all we know, Kate could have a sweatshirt and a pair of boxer shorts on under her trench. We're fairly confident that she doesn't, but the point is that a great outfit doesn't have to be complicated. Steal Kate's polished look with just two pieces.

1. Calvin Klein Jeans Shimmer Trench, $111.99 (on sale) at macys.com
2. Wonder Wand maryjane in dark red/black by Poetic Licence, $100 at piperlime.com

Steal This Style: Beyonce's Subtly Sexy Style

Beyonce

The last time we wrote about Beyonce, it was a What Were They Thinking? entry, but we don't have anything bad to say about this winning look, except that it might be a little see-through. Beyonce introduced the new Samsung B phone last week and we thought her look was classy enough to copy.

We chose a similar Rachel Pally wrap dress in blue and paired it with a different kind of animal-print shoe: snake skin. We love Beyonce's leopard print T-strap peep toes (they look great with her green dress), but snakeskin looks better with blue. Since we couldn't find a wrap dress with the same medallion detail as Beyonce's, we added a chunky bracelet to our look that incorporates the same element (and works perfectly since our dress has mid-length Dolman sleeves).

1. Bishop Sleeve Wrap Dress in midnight by Rachel Pally, $220 at shopbop.com
2. Prim-Snake pump in natural snake by Charles David, $250 at piperlime.com
3. Medallion bracelet in gold, $38 at bananarepublic.com

Steal Sarah Jessica Parker's Style....Without the Feathers

Sarah Jessica Parker Sex and the City Movie

Sarah Jessica Parker sported a bride-of-Frankenstein-esque hairdo on the streets of New York City last week. Relax, it was all for the Sex and the City movie. Between takes, she sported this comfortable-looking casual outfit, which we think has definite lazy-weekend-look potential. We recommend a simple ponytail though.

1. Cross Stitch Top, $20 at forever21.com
2. BDG Cigarette Leg Jean Grey, $49 at urbanoutfitters.com
3. Crossover Ballet flat, $9.99 (on sale) at urbanoutfitters.com

Steal This Style: Emma Watson and Two Shades of Blue

Emma Watson National Movie Awards

Emma Watson was at the National Movie Awards in London, England with her Harry Potter co-stars and sported a youthful-yet-sophisticated cornflower blue shirtdress and cobalt blue patent leather heels. Pairing two different shades of blue together is such a simple-but-great idea and Emma looks adorable in it. The key to duplicating this look is to contrast your blue dress with a pair of patent leather shoes in another shade of blue. Although we have to say it....we prefer Emma's version best!

1. Charmeuse Tie Sleeve Dress, $42.50 at alloy.com
2. Denim Leather Pump by Schutz, $92.95 at zappos.com

3. V-Neck Sash Dress, $19.50 at wetseal.com
4. Navy Patent Pump by Dolce Vita, $112.46 (on sale) at zappos.com

Sarah Jessica Parker Sex and the City Carrie Bradshaw

Sarah Jessica Parker was on set of the Sex and the City movie in New York in character as the daring fashionista, Carrie Bradshaw. If you're feeling brave, we've replicated this look with finds from shopbop.com.

First, we adapted the look for Fall by switching a cream dress for SJP's white dress. You could also add black opaque tights to really make it appropriate for the colder season. Carrie's white and gold flower is a bold statement (and clearly a nod to her earlier sartorial statements in the SATC series), but probably not practical for most. This enamel ring by Kenneth Jay Lane is remarkably similar, but is more understated worn as a cocktail ring. Juxtaposing an edgy and clunky leather heel with a delicate dress is the key to this outfit's success. This pair by Ash definitely fits the bill.

1. Flower Ring by Kenneth Jay Lane, $88 at shopbop.com
2. Necklace Dress by AKA New York, $368 at shopbop.com
3. Queen Open Toe Mary Jane Pump by Ash, $185 at shopbop.com

Steal This Style: Katie Holmes Looks Cozy Chic in Berlin

Katie Holmes Kate Holmes Suri Cruise Berlin Germany

Katie Holmes took to the streets of Berlin, Germany recently with the adorable Suri Cruise. We’re not really feeling the menswear trousers (or little Suri's bowl cut to be perfectly honest), but we dig Kate's tone-on-tone ruffled shirt and scarf and her cozy cardigan. Copy Kate's look with these budget-friendly pieces.

1. Tracee Vest in burgundy, $32.50 at delia*s.com
2. Cable-Knit Cardigan in light heather gray, $36.50 at oldnavy.com
3. Chunky Pucker Up scarf in purple by Lucky Brand, $65.95 at zappos.com

Steal This Style: KT Tunstall's Rugged Ruffles

KT Tunstall Drastic Fantastic Scottish
KT Tunstall was in London, England last week, promoting her new single, "Hold On." You might remember KT's last hit single, "Suddenly I See" from the opening sequence of The Devil Wears Prada. KT has always had a really fun style. Her cool-without-trying look is a great combination of femininity and rock and roll. The Scottish songstress' sophomore CD, Drastic Fantastic, drops on September 18th. Anxious for more than KT's album? We’ve replicated her outfit with finds at shopbop.com.

KT Tunstall Drastic Fantastic Scottish

Let's break down the outfit: the sweater’s puff sleeve is very similar to KT's -- the look is girly, but the gray color keeps it casual. The jeans are a lot more distressed, but it's okay since we paired it with a sweater with less detail than Miss Tunstall's. And we're loving these Frye boots, perfect for fall weather and under $200. Obviously, they haven't been broken in, but a few months of wear will give them the slouchy comfort KT's have.

FYI: Did you know KT is an environmental activist? According to her website, her tour buses run on bio-fuel, she loves eco-fashion and doesn't own a car!

1. Pointelle Tunic by Catherine Malandrino, $275 at shopbop.com
2. Billy Rigid Jean by True Religion, $262 at shopbop.com
3. Engineer Boot by Frye, $198 at shopbop.com
