What Was Mischa Barton Thinking?

MischaBarton.jpg
Does Mischa Barton realize she's not actually a hippie? She's must not have a stylist.

What else could explain how she ruined such an interesting See by Chloe print by pairing it with an unflattering cardigan and over-accessorizing it with two necklaces, a million bracelets, a belt and a headband?

If she'd paired her skirt with a plain T-shirt, the strange headband and gladiator sandals it would have looked amazing.

On second thought, we're still not sold on the headband...

What Was Natasha Bedingfield Thinking?

NatashaSilver.jpg

Natasha Bedingfield wore the wrong shoes to the 2008 Brit Awards in London (England's version of the Grammys). Chunky black heels are definitely hot right now, but Natasha got it all wrong here. The thick strap around the ankles makes her legs appear much shorter than they are. Had this dress been cut at the knees, it would have been much more flattering to Natasha's gams.

Whoops! What Was Sophia Bush Thinking?

Sophia Bush

Sophia Bush was definitely the darling of Fashion Week....she attended more shows that hardly any other celeb. But as much as we love the moire effect of the chocolate brown trench dress she wore to the Marc Jacobs show, she needed to wear a camisole underneath instead of a nude bra.

What Was Selma Blair Thinking?

Selma Blair Marc Jacobs

Selma Blair is usually a fashion maven. But she was seriously misbehavin' at the Marc Jacobs show, the hottest ticket at this year's Fashion Week.

um...excuse our terrible rhyming, please.

But really, what was she thinking? The whole look failed miserably from the Velma Kelly in Chicago haircut, to the outdated shoes, the over-sized snakeskin clutch that didn't really look good with the dress and the dress that, in its defense, probably can't look good with anything (even though it's a Marc Jacobs dress).

When dressing for a front-row seat at the show of America's most trendy designer, take note: this is what not to do.

What Was Camila Alves Thinking?

Matthew McConaughey Camila Alves Kate Hudson Fool's Gold

Matthew McConaughey brought his girlfriend, Camila Alves, to the premiere of his new movie with Kate Hudson, Fool's Gold. Camila was glowing (she and McConaughey are expecting), but she really should have checked the weather report before leaving the house. It was an extremely windy night in Hollywood.

Good thing she had that clutch.

It's never stylish to wear a bra as a tank top. Never.

What Were THEY Thinking?

Beyonce Caridee EnglishSolange Knowles Rachel Smith Jay Z

Something weird happened at the grand opening of Jay Z's 40/40 club in Las Vegas.....everyone on the red carpet looked, how should we say it, less than great.

Beyonce, Caridee English (past America's Next Top Model winner), Solange Knowles and Rachel Smith (former Miss USA) all looked way too made up and like they borrowed 1980s prom dresses for the occasion. Also, what's up with everyone's messy hair? Beyonce's look could have been salvaged with a more tamed mane. And Solange's large handbag just looks bizarre with her sexy mini. She could have used a small metallic clutch to make the outfit work (and a slick updo).

Better luck next time ladies.

Who Is Rachel Ray's Stylist?

Rachel Ray

We LOVE Rachel Ray, but we're starting to wonder why she is always covered up...something we blogged about here. Rach wore this outfit to a book signing in Las Vegas at a Sur La Table store.

The odd height of the skirt is one thing, but to pair it with such a chunky knit boot? We're so confused. Couldn't she have at least worn a 3/4-length sleeve tee? It's not cold in Las Vegas.

We much prefer the outfit she's wearing on the cover of her book, Just In Time.

What Was Jenna Fischer Thinking? Part II

Jenna Fischer Walk Hard The Dewey Cox Story

Jenna Fischer looked....pleasant at the Los Angeles premiere of Walk Hard - The Dewey Cox Story at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Is it just us, or does her dress, hair and makeup make her look a lot older than she actually is? The Escada dress is perfectly lovely, but Jenna should have asked her hair stylist for a sleek updo to make her look more modern.

Sadly, this is not the first time Jenna has been on the bottom of the fashion pack.

What Was Rachel Roy Thinking?

Rachel Roy

Yes, Rachel Roy is a very talented designer and yes, she is very pregnant.......but is dressing head to toe in one color, albeit plum, EVER a good idea?

The jacket is great, but the look would have been more flattering had it been the same length as the dress. Bare legs and a contrasting bag would have made this outfit less dowdy and more yummy mummy.

Check out Rachel's designs at shopbop.com.
