Katie Lee Joel wore a red sack dress to the Sweet by Ferraro Rocher event sponsored by The Food Network in New York City. Is it just us, or does the dress make the model-esque Top Chef Season One host look a little wide? Sack dresses are on trend right now, but are they smart? Maybe it depends on the camera angle....

Heidi Montag, the villainous Hills star (and aspiring singer) hosted a recent party at Las Vegas club, Jet with beau Spencer Pratt. We think Heidi's outfit is, well, can we really consider this an outfit? It looks like she forgot her blouse. Wouldn't any of these tops have made the outfit much more, well, outfit-y? Even the bustier....if that's your style.

Nice boots though, Heidi. We can't fault you for those.

We tried really hard to like the dress Cate Blanchett wore to the Elizabeth The Golden Age premiere at the Rome Film Festival. Really hard. It has all the makings of a risky fashion statement: bold color combination and a unique silhouette, but the fit and shape of this dress on Cate is awful.

If you look closely, it looks like the dress is about to fall down. It's a good three inches lower than it should be. And the bustle-like draping of green fabric makes Cate look impossibly large around the middle. Try putting your hand to your computer screen and blocking the dress off right above her knees and you'll see the voluminous shape of the dress could have looked fashion forward if it cut off in a short tulip skirt, but no, it cascades to the ground in an odd little puddle.

First there was this dress, and now this one. She'd better turn it around for the Oscars!!

Naomi Watts wore her best carpet bag dress last week to the opening gala for the BFI London Film Festival. This outfit just doesn't look good. The ankle booties might have looked smart in black and the dress could have worked with a simple pump, but together they're just confusing.

If Jennifer Lopez is trying to avoid baby rumors...this outfit is not the way to go.

Jennifer was seen wearing horizontal prison stripes at a recent taping of MTV's TRL in New York City. She has yet to comment on any baby whisperings, despite the fact that numerous media sources claim she's pregnant with twins. Maybe she's thinking of pulling a Christina Aguilera....who is obviously pregnant (and was spotted shopping for baby items last week) but will not confirm her pregnancy.

Is it a celebrity's prerogative to keep her pregnancy private? Or is there a point where it becomes silly to not address it?

Vanessa Hudgens showed up at Variety's Power of Youth event benefiting St. Jude Children's Hospital on Saturday in this unfortunate outfit. This is no way to recover your reputation after a nude photo scandal. Not everything about the outfit is bad though. We like her necklace and... yep, we like her necklace.

Demi Moore recently wore this interesting dress at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain to promote her new movie, Flawless. Her hair and makeup are, in fact, flawless, but the dress looks like it was borrowed from a wedding in the early 1980s. The big bow is a daring statement, but not when it's fashioned out of organza. And we thought no one could top the size of Jenna Fischer's bow!

Posh Beckham? More like Posh Barbie. Victoria Beckham arrived at the Marc Jacobs Spring 2008 Runway Show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City in a very unfortunate purple and silver frock.

This dress has an elegant design, but the fit is all wrong. We know Posh Spice has a near-perfect physique, but her décolletage detracts from the sleek look of the dress. Her handbag, while probably very expensive, looks like it's made for a girl playing dress up. Also, matching your handbag and your shoes isn't necessary, especially with such a bright color like this electric purple. Matching your handbag to your shoes to your dress……well, that's overkill.

We heard the Spice Girls are reuniting, but do they have to bring back their '90s style as well?

P.S. This post was especially tough to pen because we actually really like Posh. Hopefully she took good notes at the Marc Jacobs show!

An ill-fitting Grecian-inspired dress and clunky futuristic heels spelled out a fashion disaster for Beyonce Knowles at a recent press conference held to announce Jay-Z's new 40/40 club in Las Vegas. The dress is nice, actually, but the hemline is a bit too short and the waistline hits too high on her (and a bad hair day didn't help the situation). Next time, Beyonce...better luck next time.

Typically known for hits rather than misses, Jessica Simpson recently wore this ill-fitting outfit for a night out with hairstylist pal Ken Paves. Though a bit colorful, the dress (or is it a tunic?) is pretty cute, but showing all that leg and all that cleavage is just TOO much skin for our liking. Next time, leave something to the imagination Jessica!
