Although the exhibit may be called Punk: Chaos to Couture, there were quite a few celebs at Monday night’s Met Gala who circumvented the chaos and went straight for couture. Gwyneth Paltrow was probably one of the event’s biggest offenders in this bubblegum pink Valentino gown with nude inset. Wilfredo Rosado earrings completed her sweet look. Blake Lively certainly represented the Gucci Première brand well in a light green strapless gown with black organza skirt accented by an embellished feather pattern at the waist. A pair of Lorraine Schwartz statement earrings polished off the stunning look. It was a marvelous Marchesa Fall 2013 white embellished gown for Heidi Klum on the red carpet. Harry Winston gems and Jimmy Choo shoes served as accessories.
Calvin Klein designed the rather ethereal ivory halter gown Katie Holmes wore to the gala. The actress also relied on Lorraine Schwartz jewels to finish off her look. Model Kate Upton arrived in an emerald Diane von Furstenberg draped gown. The designer’s gold clutch rounded out the look. Zac Posen was behind Uma Thurman’s dramatic green gown with cascading train. She did make a bit of a rebellious statement, though courtesy of that Efva Attling Funky Ring.
Despite the fact that these stars shunned the night’s established theme, we’re still impressed with the glamorous nature of their real show-stopping gowns. After all, isn’t going against the establishment what punk’s all about?

Gossip Girl is filming its latest season around New York City, so the images of the starlets in their designer finery are starting to pop up! We’re totally smitten with the skirt Blake Lively wore on set in Greenwich Village last week.
Chloe Grace Moretz: Not only is the 14-year-old becoming a major actress, starring in movies like Hugo and (500) Days of Summer, but she just looks fantastic every time she’s on the red carpet! We can’t even pick a favorite look, but we’re loving her in Stella McCartney at Gossip Girl’s celebration of 100 episodes.
Zoe Saldana: Ever since Avatar, Zoe sure has made an impression on the red carpet. This was definitely one of our favorite looks of hers from this past year.
If anyone can make carrying a pumpkin look good, it’s Blake Lively. She was spotted out and about recently looking chicer than ever while carrying October’s favorite vegetable … due in part to the fact that she was wearing the Rag & Bone Zipper Jean.

Celebs have been all over Hollywood wearing one of spring’s hottest trends: Chambray. This lightweight cotton fabric with a denim look can be styled in many ways, and works as a great alternative to traditional denim. Above Carrie Underwood and Blake Lively, two stars who love the look, show us great ways to wear it.
Diane Kruger, in Calvin Klein Collection, Emma Watson, in Burberry, Katy Perry, in CuteCircuit, and Taylor Swift, in Ralph Lauren, were all in visions in white (Katy in blush and white).
