What are your thoughts on Emma’s out-of-the box Gucci?
There just isn’t a girlier color than pink. And on the red carpet recently, two blonde starlets had super girly moments when they teamed pink dresses with matching lips!January Jones went for a lighter take on the trend in a bubblegum pink frock by Skaist Taylor. She let the pink really stand out by adding nude ankle-strap pumps and a gold clutch.
Emma Stone went for a bolder take on the trend in a neon pink dress by Valentino. We’re loving the way it pops against her black clutch and houndstooth heels by Ferragamo.
What do you think of wearing pink dresses with matching lips? Would you try it?
For celebrities who want a little extra sex appeal on the red carpet, the corset neckline seems to be the way to go as of late. Both Michelle Williams and Emma Stone have shown up to movie premieres and screenings wearing takes on this sexy look.Michelle teamed her black corset dress by Altuzarra with white ankle strap heels and a bold red lip. Emma’s white Andrew Gn dress looked perfect with a pair of Christian Louboutin heels and, also, a bold red lip.
We’re loving this little bit of sexiness brought to the red carpet by both starlets. What do you think?

Emma Stone is one of our newest red carpet favorites, and she didn’t disappoint this week at Monday night’s London premiere of The Amazing Spider Man in a chic Elie Saab jumpsuit. From the daring deep v of the bodice up top, to the tuxedo pant styling of the bottom, this jumpsuit is amazing. She has not hit one wrong note on the press tour or the premieres for this movie.
Celebs are having some major fun with prints as of late! We’re loving the bold looks seen on the red carpet recently.Emma Stone jazzed up the Seoul tour of The Amazing Spider-Man in a fun printed frock by Fendi. We love her high bun and pointed pumps. Shailene Woodley wore celebrity favorite Mary Katrantzou at a recent film premiere, also with pulled-back hair and simple pumps. And in a Peter Pilotto dress that somehow reminds us of a cloudy blue sky and gushing waterfalls, Jaime King looked simply stunning at a Persol event in NYC.
We love that the focus really is on the frocks in these looks. With prints this bold, it’s best to let them take center stage!

We may love a look done with brights, but we’ve certainly been enjoying the plentiful black and white looks we’ve seen on the red carpet as of late. Emma Stone (actually in black and beige), at the MTV Movie Awards in Martin Grant, Alexa Chung, at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in Moschino, and Kristen Stewart, at the premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman in Stella McCartney show us the best if the best in this trend. We could totally see Alexa’s mod dress working for day or night in our wardrobe.
It was some time last summer when we began taking note of actress Emma Stone’s exceptional red carpet style. Appearance after appearance, her sartorial choices began to stand out amongst her stylish peers. Along with her gorgeous clothes, there was always a stunning beauty look to match, whether it be a bright fuchsia lip, a dramatic cat eye, or her ever-changing hair color ranging from sultry red to sunny blonde. Let’s take a look at some of her most memorable red carpet looks of the past year.

Last July, Emma’s color blocked Giambattista Valli top and skirt worn to the NY premiere of Friends With Benefits was the look that first put her on our fashion radar. Skillfully contrasting red and fuchsia with a fashion-forward peplum skirt made her a true standout. Shortly before that, she wore a sheer lace Bottega Veneta dress to the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. It was black lace again for the NY premiere of Crazy, Stupid, Love in a stunning dress from Tom Ford. For the UK premiere of The Help last October, Emma turned heads in a floor-length polka dot gown by Luca Luca.

Proving that she doesn’t need a gown to make an impression on the red carpet, Emma wore a chic take on the lady tux from Gucci to the 2012 People’s Choice Awards in January. The emerald green jacket perfectly offset her trademark red hair. At the Golden Globes later that month, she looked every bit the glamorous movie star in a custom-made plum hued gown from Lanvin. A custom-made Alexander McQueen dress was her pick for the 2012 SAG Awards.

In March, Emma looked fresh and young on the orange carpet at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in an Antonio Berardi top and skirt. Last month, she was the lady in red at the Schiaparelli and Prada Costume Institute Gala. Her flirty Lanvin dress featured hand embroidered crystal flowers custom made by designer Alber Elbaz. This past weekend at the MTV Movie Awards, Emma’s stunning peplum top and skirt from Martin Grant landed her on many best dressed lists.
We look forward to watching Emma Stone’s flawless red carpet style as it continues to evolve!
We think its tremendous popularity is proof that the 2012 Corolla offers the ideal blend of comfort, value and safety. In it, you’ll find a surprising number of high-end features, like available Display Audio system. It offers remarkable performance and fuel efficiency, plus an impressive list of standard safety features. Factor in its legendary reliability, and it’s even more apparent that Corolla is the smart choice.
We love a polished, work-appropriate look—and it doesn’t really get better than a chic blazer and skinny jeans. Celebs are definitely making it a trend as of late! We’re loving the very different ways Emma Stone, Rose Byrne and Jennifer Lawrence have made the trend their own recently.Emma really stood out at a Comic-Con event for The Amazing Spider-Man in a Todd Lynn cutaway jacket, dark blue skinnies and animal-print heels. We love the way the blues look together and the subtle hint of animal print takes it in a bold direction.
The wide peaked lapels of Jennifer’s jacket contrast nicely with a simple striped tee, blue skinnies and black accessories. We love the boldness of the T-strap heels, especially teamed with iconic aviators.
Rose takes the trend in a preppy direction with a fitted tweed blazer and striped top. A simple black pump and whiskered skinnies give it a little edge.
What do you think of this trend? Would you try it out?

LBD: Lovely Black Dresses
Tina Fey, in Carolina Herrera, Rose Byrne, in Vivienne Westwood, and Glenn Close, in (an almost-black deep green) Zac Posen showed black isn’t so basic when a peplum detail, sequins, or a smart tuxedo jacket is added.
Whites that Wow

Gold Standard

Wendi McLendon-Covey, in an embellished strapless gown, Stacy Kiebler, in Marchesa, and Kristen Wiig, in J. Mendel all looked fabulous in nude and metallic toned dresses.
Bright Hues
Michelle Williams, in Louis Vuitton, Maya Rudolph, in Johanna Johnson, Viola Davis in Vera Wang and Emma Stone (below) in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture all lit up the red carpet in pretty technicolor hues.

A Little Sparkle

Octavia Spencer, in Tadashi Shoji, and Jennifer Lopez, in Zuhair Murad wowed us in their sparkle plenty dresses that hugged their curves in all the right places.

This year as we looked to identify the trends on the red carpet for the 2012 SAG Awards we realized there was only one true trend: Dazzling Gowns. The dresses, many with similar details, were all special and unique making red carpet arrivals a real treat. Below are the dresses that caught our attention.
Emma Stone, in Alexander McQueen, Michelle Williams, in Valentino, and Sofia Vergara in Marchesa showed off glamorous dresses with beautiful detailing up top.
Melissa McCarthy, in Badgley Mischka, Emily Blunt, in Oscar de la Renta, and Jayma Mays in Reem Acra stunned on the red carpet in expertly draped gowns with elegant trains. The Glitterati
Claire Danes, in J. Mendel, Evan Rachel Wood, in Gucci, Zooey Deschanel, in Prada and Lea Michele in Marchesa gleamed and glittered on the red carpet in shimmering gowns with intricate sparkling details; including peek-a-boo sleeves and sexy cutout backs.Simply Chic
As much as we loved all the sparkles of the lovely ladies above, we were equally enamored with the simplicity of the Heidi Klum, in Calvin Klein (he does simple dresses so well. Who could forget Emma at last year’s awards), Kate Winslet, in Jenny Packham and Reese Witherspoon in Zac Posen. With natural makeup, simple hair and minimal accessories these looks screamed ‘less is more.’A Little Shimmer

Nicole Richie, in Julien MacDonald, Jessica Alba, in Gucci, and Kate Beckinsale in Roberto Cavalli looked sleek in shimmery gowns that shine in a subtle sophisticated way. We are so used to Nicole’s haute hippie looks (which we love) that we were taken aback by her departure from this style in her figure flattering gown that was pure Hollywood glamor.
Dark Magic
Emma Stone, in Lanvin, Rooney Mara, in Nina Ricci and Mila Kunis in Christian Dior all looked lovely in dark gowns with beautiful bodices that were elegant with an edge.Trained in Style

Trains always look so grand on red carpet dresses, and the ones above were no exception. Charlize Theron above left in Dior and Sofia Vergara directly above in Vera Wang went big with long sweeping trains while Julianne Moore’s Chanel gown had a small train that gave her gown a little more flair.Hands down Charlize is wearing our favorite gown. We love her fashion-forward dress and the ’20s style hair and makeup that accompanied her look. We want to know: who was your favorite?

These ladies inspired us throughout the year with their savvy red carpet choices and stylish off duty ensembles:
Emma Stone- Not only is she one of our favorite red carpet darlings she also looks great off the red carpet too. We love her fashion-froward choices and the way she likes to have fun with her wardrobe.
Jessica Alba - Jessica showed us how to look great as an expectant mother this year as she navigated playdates and maternity fashion with style and grace.
Zoe Saldana - Another one of our fave red carpet darlings Zoe has a style all her own and isn’t afraid to stand out in the crowd with bold prints, sequins and sexy heels.

2011 was filled with dramatic makeup and fashion forward hair. Here were our favorite beauty trends of the year:
Dramatic Eyes and Nude Lips- This look is great alternative to face heavy with makeup. Stars like Eva Longoria and Amber Hearst looked fab wearing this trend on the red carpet. The look is subtle but still stunning
Fashion-Forward Pixie - Whether worn in a traditional pixie or a voluminous pompadour, cropped cuts got a twist this year. We especially loved Evan Rachel Wood’s pixie at the Season 4 premiere of True Blood and Ginnifer Goodwin’s pretty pompadour at the Season 5 premiere of Big Love.
Bright Lips - In years past we’ve seen matte lips and classic ruby lips, but this year was all about statement puckers. Stars like Emma Stone rocked Hollywood with bright pink lips that commanded attention.
Chloe Grace Moretz: Not only is the 14-year-old becoming a major actress, starring in movies like Hugo and (500) Days of Summer, but she just looks fantastic every time she’s on the red carpet! We can’t even pick a favorite look, but we’re loving her in Stella McCartney at Gossip Girl’s celebration of 100 episodes.Emma Stone: The girl’s been everywhere this year, and her style has continued to evolve while maintaining a sense of fun and youth—like when she wore this colorblocked Giambattista Valli dress to the Friends With Benefits premiere, for example.
Blake Lively: The Gossip Girl star always wows on the red carpet, and this year was no exception. Whether she’s in Marchesa, like she was here, or in Chanel, she just commands attention.
Zoe Saldana: Ever since Avatar, Zoe sure has made an impression on the red carpet. This was definitely one of our favorite looks of hers from this past year.Elle Fanning: Dakota’s younger sis is so sweet every time she shows up on the red carpet. We love her flowy skirts, flowers, pretty pastels … and the fact that she’s always completely age appropriate.
Hailee Steinfeld: Hailee takes chances on the red carpet, which we love. She plays with color, she plays with proportion, and she’s never afraid to be herself.
At the UK premiere of The Help last week, starlet Emma Stone decided to wear a floor-length gown by Luca Luca. True to her fun-loving form, the dress was covered in oversized black polka dots! We love the silhouette of the dress and the cold shoulder sleeves, but we aren’t sold on the dalmatian-like print. What do you think of Emma’s look? Do you love it or hate it?
Apparently Emma Stone really likes wearing lace dresses on the red carpet! Not only did she wear an amazing avant garde dress by Tom Ford to the premiere of Crazy, Stupid, Love. last week … she also wore a gorgeous lace frock by Bottega Veneta at the MTV Movie Awards back in June.We love her in both looks—especially the Tom Ford, since it’s so different from anything else we’ve seen on the red carpet recently.
What do you think of Emma’s lacy looks?
Lipstick. Candy apple. Crimson. Cerise. No matter what you call it, the starlets were certainly all about red on the Friends with Benefits red carpet last week! We know we already talked about how gorgeous Emma Stone looked, but did you know she wasn’t the only one wearing red that night? Both Mila Kunis and Emmanuelle Chriqui showed up wearing the bright hue, too.Who do you think rocked the color best?
We never thought we would like a red and pink ensemble worn outside of Valentine’s day, until we saw this look worn by Emma Stone at Monday night’s Friend’s with Benefits New York premiere. The stylish star, back to her signature red tresses (and trendy bright pucker), looked smashing in a bright Giambattista Valli look and nude leg lengthening Christian Louboutin heels.
Emma Stone first lightened her locks, and now she’s brightening her lips. Bright lips, seen above on Emma at the Condé Nast Traveler’s Hot List Party, worn with minimal blush and eyeshadow can really steal the show. See some of our choices for pretty bright puckers below:

The British Academy Film Awards ( BAFTAs) blessed us with more red carpet candy, hot on the heels of the Grammy Awards. Unlike the free spirited and sexy looks of the Grammys, the BAFTAs were all about pure glamour. Jessica Alba, in Atelier Versace, Emma Stone, in Lanvin, Amy Adams, in Elie Saab, and Thandie Newton in Monique Lhuillier stepped out in elegant gowns. We really love the grand sweeping train and beautiful print on Thandie’s dress, and the pretty cobalt color of Jessica’s gown.
