Emmy-Rossum-The-Onyx-And-Breezy-Foundation-Saving-Tails-Fundraiser-Hollywood.jpgEmmy attended The Onyx & Breezy Foundation’s Saving Tails Gala Fundraiser on Saturday in Hollywood in a truly charming Topshop ensemble. The actress combined a $64 sleeveless white cotton embroidered shirt with cut-out accents and a yellow floral pleat calf skirt for $96. She completed her look with nude Jimmy Choo sandals and a fun braided hairstyle. We adore Emmy’s Topshop outfit, not only because it reminds us of spring, but also because both pieces are pretty affordable.

Can you picture yourself rocking this look this season?

Dynamic jacquard designs have been popping up all over lately. Olga Kurylenko selected this maroon Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2013 feather jacquard dress for the Oblivion photocall over in Moscow earlier this week. A pair of tights and black Christian Louboutin Batignolles pumps completed her photo-ready look. It was a baby blue take on the popular style for Emmy Rossum at the Broadway premiere of Lucky Guy in New York City. Her Temperley London Spring 2013 crewneck dress was teamed with silver Rupert Sanderson Elba pumps. Ashley Tisdale also opted to embrace the trend when she visited The Grove to tape an appearance on Extra. The actress wore a jacquard and eyelet Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2013 outfit accented by Norman Silverman earrings and black Vivienne Westwood platform pumps.

We’re actually really impressed with all three looks and definitely plan on incorporating at least one jacquard piece into our wardrobe this season.

Emmy-Rossum-Stop-Staring-Dress.jpgEmmy Rossum is just so pretty, isn’t she? She rarely missteps in the fashion department, too—and we’re totally loving the Stop Staring Celebrity Dress on her! It’s a great shape for her silhouette, and it has so many great details, from the belt at the waist to the seamed sides and cap sleeves. We especially love it with her candy apple red nails and pointy-toed red pumps!

The Costume Institute’s American Woman gala at the Met provided great eye candy for fashion lovers everywhere. Monday night’s red carpet had no shortage of fashion-forward and elegant gowns.

White Dresses

Model Amber Valletta, in RM by Roland Mouret, singer Cassie, in Versace and Sergio Rossi shoes, and Emmy Rossum, in Kenneth Cole, provided a jolt of color to the red carpet in beautiful sapphire hues with bold shoes and accessories.

Beautiful Trains

Claire Danes, in Burberry, Eva Longoria, in Marchesa, and Kristin Davis, in vintage Rochas, exuded classic elegance in their strapless gowns with chic trains.

Shimmery Ballgowns

Anne Hathaway, in Valentino, and Jennifer Lopez, in Zuhair Murad, went for all out glamour in shimmery ballgowns with a wow factor.

Fashion-Forward

metgala2010avantdresses.jpg

As usual with the Met Gala, the red carpet brought out plenty of avant-garde and fashion- forward looks. Blake Lively, in Marchesa, Chloe Sevingy, in a dress she designed with Proenza Schouler’s Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Elizabeth Banks, in Gucci, and Gisele Bundchen, in Alexander Wang made statements by pairing their fashion-forward detailed frocks with statement making shoes and accessories.

We loved looking at all the looks both glam and fashion-forward, but want to know what you think. So tell us: What do you think of the fashion-forward looks? What was your favorite look?
