For the 47th year, Mr. Blackwell has come out with his list of Hollywood’s biggest fashion offenders for 2006. At the top of the list are ex-BFFs Paris Hilton and Britney Spears whom Blackwell describes as “Two peas in an over-exposed pod! Style-free and fashion deprived…ladies and gentlemen, the ‘SCREAMGIRLS’ have arrived!”  Fellow underwear hater Lindsay Lohan also made the cut (“from adorable to deplorable”) as did Christina Aguilera (“all crass, no class”) and Mariah Carey (“the Queen of Catastrophic Kitsch”). Rounding out the Top Ten Worst are Paula Adbul, Camilla Parker-Bowles, Sharon Stone, Tori Spelling, Sandra Oh and Meryl Streep.

Mr. Blackwell gives praise to “Fabulous Fashion Independents for 2006” including Kate Winslet, Angelina Jolie, Beyonce and Katie Holmes. Other stylish stars on his list include Helen Mirren, Barbra Streisand, Nancy Pelosi, Princess Charlotte of Monaco, Heidi Klum and Marcia Cross.

We think he may have been a bit harsh on Christina, whose retro-inspired style choices are a tremendous improvement over her former “Dirrty” days. Otherwise, we couldn’t agree more.

Skinny jeans, we hardly knew ya. If these trendsetting celebs are any indication, the skinny jean may be on its way out in favor of more figure flattering boot cut and flared styles. Former drainpipe devotees Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton and Rachel Bilson have come out in flared jeans in the past few weeks. Though we’re guilty of promoting the trend, we’ve always known it wasn’t here to stay. No need to retire yours just yet, they still look great with tunics and oversized knits, and they can’t be beat for tucking into boots.

Time to dust off those boot cuts!

Saw this picture of Jessica Simpson from the Blonde Ambition movie set and just had to post it. We are loving this red-hot look - proof positive that a chic coat is the ultimate cold weather accessory. The ruffled trim paired with red lips, a red croc bag and red pumps is divine.

Cameron Diaz shone on the red carpet at this week’s premiere for her upcoming movie The Holiday. We’re loving her new refined nose and rich colored locks, but the metallic minidress from Zac Posen has us scratching our head. Of course, Cameron looks lovely in just about everything (we’d kill for those legs), but this outfit seems like it belongs under a Christmas tree wrapped with ribbon.
