Yes, you read the headline right. Taylor Momsen has some clothes on. However our excitement was short lived as we realized it was only for the taping of Gossip Girl. Taylor, usually scantily clad in racy thigh highs and garters, was seen above  in NYC wearing a lovely chunky gray sweater, miniskirt, and open front cardigan for her role as Upper East Side princess (with a downtown vibe) Jenny Humphrey.

 Regardless of why she is wearing it, we love her look from the top of her earrings, to the bottom of those luxe thigh high boots. We’d also like to note, for the record, that we don’t love the cigarette in her hand (I mean c’mon she’s 17)!

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was snapped leaving her NYC hotel looking fabulous with her new platinum pixie cut. We must admit we have been missing her blonde locks and think that the new look adds a freshness and an edginess that had been missing with her long red hair.

We love Chanel handbags, both new and vintage, but we must admit we’re a bit sick of seeing them in basic black. That’s why when we saw this picture of The Hills alum Lo Bosworth sporting a teal Chanel handbag with her French Connection dress, we were thrilled. We love that this classic bag in a not-so-classic color is both sophisticated and fashion forward.

Leave it to Lo to spice it up a bit, and show us a bit of her personality on the red carpet.

Our favorite New York fashionista and girl about town, Olivia Palermo, looked chic at Paris fashion week in a white strapless dress, nude blazer, and sleek orange pumps. The City star can always take what would look basic on other women and make it pop. We love her statement necklace and her beautiful cuff.

We can definitely see this look working in the boardroom and beyond.
