Audrina-Patridge-Jay-Godfrey-Dress.jpgCelebs continue to rock colorblocked outfits on the red carpet. Audrina Patridge is the latest gal to step out in a colorful dress. She rocked a super-bright pink and orangey-red dress by Jay Godfrey while hosting Epic Saturdays at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City recently. Audrina teamed her bright frock with equally bright red heels by Giuseppe Zanotti and a lipstick red clutch by Adrienne Tunney.

We’re loving Audrina’s take on colorblocking, especially with the bright accessories that aren’t too matchy matchy. What do you think of her look—is it a hit or a miss?

We never thought we would like a red and pink ensemble worn outside of Valentine’s day, until we saw this look worn by Emma Stone at Monday night’s Friend’s with Benefits New York premiere. The stylish star, back to her signature red tresses (and trendy bright pucker), looked smashing in a bright Giambattista Valli look and nude leg lengthening Christian Louboutin heels.

Diane Kruger, in a YSL gown, seen with Dita Von Teese, and Fergie, in Louis Vuitton worked the room at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in Paris, France on Thursday. We are definitely going to take a cue from Diane by wearing a beautifully draped dress, no fuss hair, and bright lips.

Elle-Fanning-Marc-Jacobs-Dress-Women-In-Films-2011-Crystal-+-Lucy-Awards.jpgWe have to say, we’re really loving all of Elle Fanning’s choices on the red carpet. But her floaty Marc Jacobs dress paired with Chanel peep-toes, which she wore to the 2011 Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards, is one of our favorites yet.

We’re totally in love with the color play here—the baby blue gown paired with coral shoes is such a red carpet win, since colorblocking is such a major trend this season. And the 13-year-old looks totally age-appropriate, since the gown isn’t too low-cut and has sweet, pretty floral detailing.

What do you think of Elle’s red carpet look?

One of the biggest nights in fashion every year is, arguably, the CFDA Fashion Awards. It’s a veritable who’s who in the fashion industry—and you can bet they bring everything they’ve got to the red carpet! Check out some of the looks that struck us this year. (As always, Lady Gaga took a huge fashion risk.)

Lady Gaga (in custom Mugler), Michelle Harper (with Cameron Silver and Rod Keenan) and designers Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman of Marchesa all took a major chance on the red carpet. (Hello, a turquoise wig?) We applaud these three for their fearlessness on the red carpet.

So many starlets embraced color on the red carpet this year … it was hard to pick just three to showcase! But these women really did it right. Ashley Greene (in Michael Kors, with the designer),  just brought the prettiest hues to the red carpet in absolute style.

CFDA-Awards-Black-Image.jpgBold in Black
Some stuck to basic black on the red carpet this year … but made it anything but basic! Miranda Kerr (in Michael Kors), Kirsten Dunst (in Patrik Ervell) and Betsey Johnson (in her own design, of course!) all took chances that definitely paid off.
