Hollywood’s hottest stars stepped out in lovely gowns to see who would take home TV’s highest honors at the 62nd annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The gowns were chic and sophisticated, and unlike other awards shows, totally wearable.

NAVY DRESSES

Lea Michele, in Oscar de la Renta, Jayma Mays, in Burberry Prorsum, and Julie Bowen, in J. Mendel, all looked fabulous in rich navy gowns complete with ruffles and tiers. We see this hue as being the new black for Fall.

LACE AND TEXTURE

Jewel, in Zuhair Murad, Glee’s Diana Aragon, in Carolina Herrera, and Emily Deschanel, in Max Azria Atelier, stole our hearts in ultra romantic gowns in lace and pleats.

SHIMMER

Maria Menounos (top row on left), in Ralph and Russo, Claire Danes (top row on right), in Giorgio Armani Privé, Glee’s Heather Morris (bottom row on left), in Ina Soltani, and Jennifer Carpenter (bottom row on right) all shined in beautiful sequins and beaded gowns.We’re really loving Heather’s gold dress with its black ribbon belt. So modern and chic!

We know everyone pines for the Oscar or SAG Awards, but we still heart the Emmy Awards. Not only is red carpet always filled with looks we love, but the women always look elegant and confident.

TV’s hottest stars stepped out on the red carpet Saturday evening for the 2010 Creative Arts Emmys Awards. This event may not be as glamorous as the Daytime Emmy Awards, but it still had stellar red carpet looks.

Christina Hendricks looked stunning in yet another gown by Christian Siriano (She wore a gown by Siriano at the Golden Globes earlier this year), while Broadway beauty Kristin Chenoweth, center, and singer Melanie Brown, went short and chic in sweetheart cocktail dresses.

This awards show had everything we love about red carpets: sleek sexy ensembles and refined glamor.

Lea Michele in Naeem Khan, Ashley Greene in Valentino, Kristen Bell in Stella McCartney, and Leighton Meester in Emilio Pucci all had fun with color, prints, and texture at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards.

While Leighton’s frothy lace number and frou frou shoes steal our heart as our favorite look, we’re loving Kristen and Lea’s vivid use of color on the red carpet. This was a young, fun red carpet and these ladies definitely epitomized this with their looks!

Eva Mendes, in Oscar de la Renta, Brooke Shields, and Lindsay Sloan all turned out on the red carpet for the New York premiere of The Other Guys in sophisticated fashion.Eva’s Oscar de la Renta dress didn’t disappoint with it’s u-shape neckline and  peplum waist with a pretty bow.We also love the draping on Brooke’s dress, and the vibrant color of Lindsay’s dress.

Sexy stars hit the red carpet for the premiere of Salt. Angelina Jolie didn’t disappoint in a short beaded Giorgio Armani dress, while Amber Beard in Marchesa, and Naomi Watts in Gucci showed off their gams in chic strapless dresses with great details like lace and textured sequins.

We love all the sultry looks, and expect nothing less when dealing with a project where Angelina is involved.
