Sarah Jessica Parker, in Valentino Couture, Kristin Davis, in a Jean Desses dress from Decades Inc.Cynthia Nixon, in Carolina Herrera, and Kim Cattrall, in Naeem Khan, went for full on glamour at the Sex and the City 2 premiere.

We love Sarah Jessica, Kristin, and Kim in their candy colored dresses. We found that the bright yellow looked great against Sarah Jessica’s and Kim’s skin, and lit up their faces. Kristin also chose a great color with her fuchsia dress. She has been wearing a lot of vintage lately and this gown, with its feminine draping and silhouette, was another great choice.Cynthia Nixon, although not in a spring hue, looked elegant and simple in her gown.

We can’t wait to see what the ladies will wear for their London premiere!

The 2010 Cannes Film Festival delivered a dose of red carpet elegance with voluminous detailed gowns.

Salma Hayek was stunning in a wine colored asymmetrical gown, a debut design from the Gucci Premiere collection, as well as peep-toes and a clutch from the brand. Eva Longoria turned out in another glorious dress with a lovely train (remember her Marchesa gown at the Costume Institute Gala), while Kate Beckinsale wowed us in ice blue Marchesa and Chopard diamonds.

Fashion-Forward

metgala2010avantdresses.jpg

As usual with the Met Gala, the red carpet brought out plenty of avant-garde and fashion- forward looks. Blake Lively, in Marchesa, Chloe Sevingy, in a dress she designed with Proenza Schouler’s Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Elizabeth Banks, in Gucci, and Gisele Bundchen, in Alexander Wang made statements by pairing their fashion-forward detailed frocks with statement making shoes and accessories.

We loved looking at all the looks both glam and fashion-forward, but want to know what you think. So tell us: What do you think of the fashion-forward looks? What was your favorite look?
