HELLO SUNSHINE

Claire Danes (and her baby bump), in Lanvin, Julie Bowen, in Monique Lhuillier, and Julianne Moore, in Dior Haute Couture all looked stunning in a bright marigold color that definitely stopped traffic. The color must have been lucky as each lovely lady above took home an award for their respective show/movie.
CHIC LBDs

Edie Falco in Stella McCartney and E! Host Giuliana Rancic in Romona Keveza turned the simple LBD on its head in sleek black gowns with great detailing. Flattering side cut-outs and a shiny gold belt, and a super sexy slit take these gowns from ho hum to hot.
SEEING RED

Kat Dennings, in J.Mendel, Gretchen Mol and Julia Dreyfus, in Vera Wang show us the beauty in varying shades of red. One thing all the ruby gowns had in common was their beautiful draping and ultra flattering bodices. With gowns this red hot the ladies kept their accessories to a minimum with Kat showing off wearing a luxe gold cuff and red lips, Gretchen letting her shoes shine and Julia wearing a pair of pretty drop earrings.
THE LITTLE MERMAIDS

Kelly Osbourne and Allison Williams (even Julie Bowen above) dazzled in body con dresses with fun trains. Kelly really steals the show here in what is perhaps one of our favorite looks on her yet, and Kelly being Kelly got her tresses to match.

Our absolute favorite person on the red carpet? Hands down, Gwyneth Paltrow. We love her kicky flared skirt and the heels are to die for! Olympian Gabby Douglas looked adorable as always, pairing her grey tee with faded bootcut jeans that made her legs look a mile long. (And we love her red nails!)

The GQ Men of the Year Awards might be about men, but on the red carpet, it was the women who really sizzled! Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss and singer Jessie J both showed up in long gowns with seriously high, sexy slits, vamping it up even further with bold lips.
At the premiere of the new movie Premium Rush last week, starlets Dania Ramirez and Jamie Chung had one thing in common (besides looking gorgeous, of course): cutout dresses! We love that their dresses played off each other but were still so different.
