Meet Sutton Foster, a huge Broadway star (she also played Coco on Flight of the Conchords), who just made her debut as Fiona in Shrek the Musical. Cameron Diaz(the original Fiona) came to the opening night performance to wish Sutton well.
Who looked best? They both looked so fantastic - we really can’t choose.
Zooey Deschanel wore Christian Dior designed by John Galliano to the premiere of Yes Man, but the dress was not a success. Something about the fit was off. Eva Mendeswore a similar dress(from the same Fall 2008 Dior collection) and she had it tailored to fit her perfectly. It looks like Zooey shortened the skirt of the dress, which gave it even more volume.
Ginnifer Goodwin and Lauren Conrad both wore little black skirts with black tights and pointy-toe heels to a recent Dolce and Gabbana event. Lauren accessorized with dark nail polish and a black bow headband while Ginnifer piled on gold chains and a gold pump. So who wore it best? We are in love with Ginnifer’s layered necklaces, but wish she would have stuck with a darker shoe like Lauren’s simple black (or are they dark purple?) pair.
Cate Blanchette attends another premiere for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in another dress straight from the runway. This one is Balenciaga and we’re always fascinated by the transformation a piece can make from the model to the celebrity. Check out the runway and red carpet photos from yesterday when we highlighted Cate wearing Alexander McQueen.
