The red carpet fashion was fantastic at last night’s Emmy Awards. The stars did not disappoint and pulled off some amazing looks. Here are our faves.

Red Carpet Trend: Champagne-Colored Dresses
Evangeline Lily (Lost) wore Elie Saab Haute Couture, Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives) also wore Elie Saab and Olivia Wilde (House) wore Reem Acra.
All three opted for dresses in a light bronze champagne hue, which we absolutely love, but the silhouettes of their dresses are all completely different. We can’t choose a favorite!

A bold punch of color was definitely the look of choice. Brooke Shields (our favorite look of the night) wore a ruffled fuchsia Badgley Mischka dress and the Lipstick Jungle star couldn’t have looked better. And we love that she kept true to her style and wore her hair down - it was gorgeous. Law and Order SVU’s Mariska Hargitay was also glowing in a beautiful canary yellow goddess dress by Carolina Herrera. Cynthia Nixon won an Emmy for her appearance on SVU and looked fresh and elegant in a simple robin egg’s blue Calvin Klein number. And Desperate Housewives’ Nicolette Sheridan was a surprise red carpet standout in a radiant royal purple Angel Sanchez strapless gown.
