KateBosworth.jpgKate Bosworth wore Chanel Haute Couture from the Spring 2008 line that recently showed in Paris. She left out the matching leggings (thank goodness), but added some interesting glove/sleeves. We think the outfit would have been a total hit without the arm accessories. We LOVE the shoes she paired with the dress. Oh well.

But kudos to Kate for being so bold. You can probably do no wrong as long as you can back up your fashion choice with “It’s Chanel.”

Keri Russell glowed in a beautiful pale robin egg’s blue Balenciaga day dress. We love, love, love it.

But since we can’t afford anything designed by Nicolas Ghesquiere, we’ll settle for this jumper by Karta, $282 at shopbop.com.

Camilla Belle is in the new blockbuster, 10,000 B.C. and showed up to two of the film’s premieres in knockout dresses (left: Carlos Miele; right: Gucci).

Both looks are styled to perfection and work incredibly well. Turns out, her mother is her stylist. Here’s what Camilla had to say about fashion and her mom in an interview on latimesblogs.latimes.com.

“She took me to see the Chanel and Dior shows and  that’s when I started really appreciating it as art - not as just shopping, which has nothing to do with it. It’s just like me making a movie or someone painting something. It’s just art. Now I love it. I love working with designers. Having relationships with them. I think it’s really a fascinating world.”

MarionRunway.jpgIt’s no secret we thought Marion Cotillard wore the most daring dress at this year’s Oscars, a fashion risk we happen to think paid off. Now we’re taking a look at the runway versions that inspired Marion’s Jean Paul Gaultier gown.

Marion’s exact dress was featured in Gaultier’s Spring 2008 collection in green/gold (center), but there was also another interpretation of the fish-scale idea in a similar color to the one Marion wore (left). No doubt Marion communicated with the designer as to which look and color would suit her best (even her hair is styled similarly to how it was in Gaultier’s runway show).

Elle est si jolie!

NatalieScarlett.jpgContinuing our red carpet week, it was a formal affair at the London premiere of The Other Boleyn Girl where Natalie Portman wore Christian Lacroix and Scarlett Johansson opted for Stella McCartney.

Who looked best?

We think it’s kind of a toss up. But the interesting thing is their postures. Natalie’s shoulders are back, which lengthens her neck and gives her a very regal look. Scarlett’s slouched shoulders make the bodice of her gown look ill-fitted.

Shoulders back Scarlett!
