At the Do Something Awards this past weekend, Kristen Bell truly stunned in a boldly hued dress by Jenni Kayne. We love everything about this dress, from the interesting pattern to the V-neck and flattering shoulders. Her simple half updo and Jimmy Choo strappy heels complemented the look perfectly without drawing focus. The overall effect is summery and gorgeous! This dress is from Jenni Kayne’s Resort 2013 collection, so it’s not available yet—but we can’t wait to get our hands on it once it is.Recently in As Seen On... Category

Sparkle, the remake of the 1976 film and featuring the late Whitney Houston, opened this past weekend. The film’s star, former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, was front and center at two of the film’s premieres last week. The first, an NYC screening hosted by the Cinema Society with Circa and Alice + Olivia, featured a sophisticated yet simple look. The second, the Los Angeles premiere, featured Jordin going all out in a gown bedazzled with over 500 Swarovski crystals!Jordin’s NYC look was by Alice + Olivia. We love the peplum shape and the bold red silhouette, and while the red pumps don’t match the dress exactly, the look is polished and professional. It’s no surprise that Jordin pulled out all the stops for the LA premiere, showing up in a floor-sweeping white gown by Chagoury Couture. The movie is called Sparkle, after all! And while Jordin was definitely the most Oscar-like dressed woman on the red carpet, the dress was certainly worthy of a film all about sparkle.
Both looks really showed off Jordin’s beautiful hourglass shape. What do you think of the two looks?
Jessica Biel surprised us with this fashion forward Giambattista Valli dress she wore to the Total Recall UK Premiere. We’re so used to Jessica in simple chic dresses and gowns that seeing her in this dress was a welcome change. We can’t think of anything better to wear to a film with a futuristic edge. We love the way the dress marries structure, femininity, and romanticism all into one look (her coral pumps that pop earn points from us too!).
Jennifer Garner looks stunning at the premiere for her new movie The Odd Life of Timothy Green in an expertly draped Lanvin sheath. We love the deep ruby color and the way the dress hugs her curves in all the right places. The dress is not flashy but definitely gets Jennifer noticed with its flattering cut.
We think we have a newfound girl crush on Bella Thorne. The girl is gorgeous, she has hair to die for, and she can pull of a prom dress like no one’s business! We’re loving the Sherri Hill 2788 dress on Bella-the jewel-encrusted top is somewhat warrior-inspired, while the skirt is pure ballet dancer prettiness.Bella wore this to an event she co-hosted with Staples and DoSomething.org last week. And while it might be a little dressy for an event with an office supply company, she definitely rocked it! Not to mention the red lip and sideswept curly tresses just offset the dress perfectly.
