The iconic summer lemonade stand just went virtual - and for a good cause. Electrolux and Kelly Ripa are encouraging Americans to open a virtual lemonade stand to help raise funds and awareness for Ovarian Cancer this month.

Head to electroluxappliances.com or kelly-confidential.com to design and open your own virtual lemonade stand and choose the flavors of lemonade you want to feature from Raspberry Mint to Citrus Twist. For every stand opened, Electrolux will donate $1 to OCRF as part of its $500,000 commitment to help fight ovarian cancer. In addition, participants can help the cause even more by selling virtual glasses of lemonade to friends and family. 100 percent of their proceeds will go to OCRF. Check out our lemonade stand here.

And, for opening a stand and everyday you log on and visit your stand, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a new French Door Refrigerator with a Perfect Temp Drawer™ from Electrolux. When people visit your stand, they will also have a chance to win.
Get started today and out more information at electroluxappliances.com.

It’s likely that Michelle Obama’s most heavily scrutinized fashion choice will come today, as she stands next to Barack Obama as he takes the Oath of Office. The world will be watching, not just here in America, but around the world. And based on her previous styles, we’re guessing Michelle won’t be looking to blend in.

Throughout her husband’s historic campaign, Michelle has been a fan of bold solids. She wears bright colors very well and for Michelle, the simpler the design, the better. We think she’ll stick with what she loves and wear a solid color coat in a bright hue by Maria Pinto.

Don’t forget though, that Michelle loves shopping on a budget. Here she is (from left to right), in H&M, J.Crew and White House Black Market. We think Michelle will keep wearing low-cost outfits throughout her time as First Lady, but probably not at the inauguration. Of course, we’re sure she’s got a very expensive gown lined up for the balls…so how great would it be to wear a Banana Republic or J.Crew coat?

Of course we are hoping for a fashion repeat of what she wore the last night of the Democratic National Convention. Michelle looked confident, classy and extremely fashionable wearing Thakoon. It was updated First Lady chic and we also love that she wore flats. Unfortunately, it is so cold in Washington, D.C., all we will probably see of Michelle’s ensemble will be her coat and boots…check back tomorrow for a report on what Michelle wore.

ArtofElysum.jpgThere’s no better way to say it than this. Kirstin Dunst (in Valentino), Sophia Bush (in Monique Lhuillier) and Amy Smart wowed at The Art of Elysium Heaven Gala. The Art of Elysium is a non-profit foundation that helps famous stars donate their time to children battling serious medical conditions by spending time with them through activities like acting workshops.

Doesn’t Sophia look unbelievably regal?

Alicia Silverstone is known for her activism. She’s vegan and an animal-lover. So we always pay close attention to the shoes she wears to red carpet events.

Stella McCartney shoes are marked “suitable for vegetarians” on the bottom and have been made out of raffia in the past and Natalie Portman has a vegan shoe line of her own…

These shoes appear to be maybe satin wrapped? What do you think? Who makes them? And are they chic or trying too hard?
