Katie Holmes Kate Holmes Suri Cruise Berlin Germany

Katie Holmes took to the streets of Berlin, Germany recently with the adorable Suri Cruise. We’re not really feeling the menswear trousers (or little Suri’s bowl cut to be perfectly honest), but we dig Kate’s tone-on-tone ruffled shirt and scarf and her cozy cardigan. Copy Kate’s look with these budget-friendly pieces.

KT Tunstall Drastic Fantastic Scottish
KT Tunstall was in London, England last week, promoting her new single, “Hold On.” You might remember KT’s last hit single, “Suddenly I See” from the opening sequence of The Devil Wears Prada. KT has always had a really fun style. Her cool-without-trying look is a great combination of femininity and rock and roll. The Scottish songstress’ sophomore CD, Drastic Fantastic, drops on September 18th. Anxious for more than KT’s album? We’ve replicated her outfit with finds at shopbop.com.

Let’s break down the outfit: the sweater’s puff sleeve is very similar to KT’s — the look is girly, but the gray color keeps it casual. The jeans are a lot more distressed, but it’s okay since we paired it with a sweater with less detail than Miss Tunstall’s. And we’re loving these Frye boots, perfect for fall weather and under $200. Obviously, they haven’t been broken in, but a few months of wear will give them the slouchy comfort KT’s have.

FYI: Did you know KT is an environmental activist? According to her website, her tour buses run on bio-fuel, she loves eco-fashion and doesn’t own a car!

Alicia Silverstone was out and about on Saturday at the Farm Sanctuary Gala for Farm Animals. This look is very basic, from the loose tousled hair, to the solid color of her dress, no jewelry and natural makeup. It’s understated perfection and definitely worth replicating.

We substituted Alicia’s heels for fantastic Dolce Vita buckle flats and kept the dress simple in basic black (the perfect backdrop for a vibrant Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelet)!

Kristin

Kristin Davis attended a U.S. Open tennis match on September 8th carrying the new Prada bow clutch. This bag is really cute, really imaginative and really expensive. If you’re feeling the bow vibe, get your fix at shopbop.com with Juliana Jabour Bow Bag for $212.50 (on sale) (in red or navy) or the Brontibay Paris Liseron Clutch for $56 (available in 8 punchy colors).

Fergie for Kipling Macy's New York City Fergie formally introduced her Fergie for Kipling handbag line at Macy’s in New York City on September 5th. We think Fergie’s outfit is okay, but have a few suggestions to improve upon it. First, the bows on her dress are too frilly for fall’s more geometric and edgier silhouettes. The black taffeta dress below has crisper lines while still maintaining a voluminous shape.

Also, the contrast of Fergie’s round-toe heels is great, but the black and white is too much like last year’s Chanel platform pumps. These black and gold pumps are more appropriate for the upcoming season’s metallic trends.
