Houndstooth-Dresses-Celebrities.jpgOne part menswear, one part prep, all parts oldschool. That’s houndstooth! And recently, it’s been popping up on celebrities everywhere, thanks mostly to Salvatore Ferragamo. Just check out the dress on Kim Kardashian, the little clutch Ashley Greene carried, and, of course, the over-the-top head-to-toe look on Lady Gaga!

Audrina-Patridge-Jennifer-Morrison-Gold-Dresses.jpgCelebs are really going for the gold recently! Both Audrina Patridge and Jennifer Morrison were spotted on the red carpet wearing gold dresses that just really made them shine.

Audrina teamed a sparkly stunner by Theia with Giuseppe Zanotti heels and gold extras. Actually, everything on the starlet was gold — even her skin was golden brown!

Jennifer’s Jacques Fath Haute Couture dress was from the store Decades—the vintage embroidered strapless frock was from the ’50s. She teamed it with nude heels and a wavy updo.

Which gold dress do you think looked better on the red carpet?
Animal-Print-Trend-Image-1.jpgAnimal print seems to be everywhere right now! At both the VH1 Do Something Awards and the Kardashian Kollection launch party last month, celebs were out on the red carpet in every type of animal print imaginable. Carmen Electra also stepped out in animal print to host “Stereo Loves Saturday” at Azure Luxury Pool in Vegas.

Animal-Print-Trend-Image-2.jpgWe personally love how Victoria Justice played with pattern, teaming leopard-print pumps with a candy apple frock. Brittany Snow’s animal-print dress looked super-luxe with mustard-hued satin ankle-strap heels.

Animal-Print-Trend-Image-3.jpgTrue to form, the Kardashians were completely over the top—especially Kim, who teamed a jungle-print jumpsuit and strangely shaped black peep-toe flats and mountains of curls.

Which celeb do you think got the animal print trend right?

Rashida-Jones-Busy-Phillips-My-Idiot-Brother-Premiere.jpgAt the premiere of Our Idiot Brother in Los Angeles a little while back, things were certainly bright and bold on the red carpet! Both Busy Phillips and Rashida Jones stepped out in bright, bold looks that took the premiere by storm.

Rashida wore a super-cool Stella McCartney dress from the Spring 2012 collection—basic black but with a fun pink and red peplum detail down the front. She paired it with Casadei grey suede pumps and Neil Lane jewelry.

Busy was a bit more dressed down, teaming a faded blue denim jacket with a white tee and colorful striped skirt. Matching peep-toe pumps completed her look.

We love both the looks, but which celeb do you think got color right on the red carpet?
Heather-Morris-Leslie-Mann-Embellished-Shoulder-Dresses.jpgCelebs are really going for the glitz on the red carpet as of late! Leslie Mann and Heather Morris both showed up to movie premieres recently wearing dresses with embellished shoulders.

At the Los Angeles premiere of The Change-Up on August 1, Leslie wore a white Marchesa dress from the Resort 2012 collection. The form-fitting silhouette was accented by gleaming golden details at the shoulders that almost look like wings!

Heather’s lavender three-quarter-sleeved minidress at the Los Angeles premiere of Glee 3D on August 6 was by Tibi. We think she went a little overboard on the accessories, but we’re totally loving the dress.

Which celeb do you think got the trend right? We actually love both of the looks!
