After seeing Rihanna and entrepreneur and daughter of rap royalty Angela Simmons above in their see-through gear, we can’t believe we ever made a fuss over Katie Holmes’ subtle sheer look.

Although we shouldn’t be shocked at Rihanna’s public display of her lady parts in her see-through bra top, we are! We are used to her showing off one thing or another, with a glimpse of skin here or there, but this top leaves nothing to the imagination. Angela’s look is also revealing but a little more understandable given it’s at night and on the red carpet in Las Vegas. But we still have to ask ourselves: how much is too much?

We think that sheer looks are great but should not go overboard (and should certainly be contained to one piece of clothing that does NOT literally show your anatomy). What do you think of the looks above: stylish, fashion-forward or too much?

When the going gets hot, the celebrities wear white. White has been coming out in droves on the red carpet recently, with everyone from Jessica Biel to Sophia Bush taking a crack at their favorite takes on the trend. Here’s the breakdown.

Jessica Biel chose a lace dress with accompanying shawl by Elie Saab for one of her premieres of the new Total Recall.

At another premiere of the same movie, Sophia Bush went for black leather leggings and a white tuxedo jacket—very menswear-inspired and a different look for the actress, who usually chooses girly pieces.

At the TCA Summer Tour, 90210’s Jessica Lowndes looked almost ethereal in a floaty frock by Pamela Rolland, which she gave a bit of edge with Casadei turquoise heels.

And Taraji P. Henson rocked a form-fitting white dress by Gomez-Gracia at the TCA Summer Tour, too! We’re loving her ankle-strap heels by McQ Alexander McQueen.

Cult favorite Tucker is popping up all over the place recently! Celebrities including Jordana Brewster and Mandy Moore have been spotted in the line’s bright, fun-loving pieces.

Jordana was out and about in the butterfly print Button Wrap Skirt ($274 at tuckerbygabybasora.com), while Mandy opted for a bold geometric red dress. We’re loving both looks equally!

Vanessa Minnillo and Kourtney Kardashian mastered the look of staying stylish while expecting. Check them out above, near twins, in the same maxi dress and fun blazers. Even though this is a look that accommodates their bellies, they can still keep this look post baby (Kourtney just had her daughter Penelope, and we’re sure she’ll be rocking this dress).

We’re spotting quite the trend on movie sets as of late. More than one starlet has been seen filming scenes in preppy patterns! To be exact, both Dakota Fanning and Keira Knightley have been seen filming movies in these preppy patterns. And we have to say, we’re loving both takes on the trend.

Dakota was seen in wide orange stripes and rolled denim shorts (not to mention the adorable pink bike!) on the set of Very Good Girls. While filming Can A Song Save Your Life?, Keira was carrying a cartonfull of coffees while wearing a pale pastel plaid tee.

It’s nice to see a little prep on movie sets, don’t you think?
