We really don’t understand why Selena Gomez wanted to look like she worked in a bordello, but that’s exactly the look she accomplished at the VMAs recently. Her black Julien MacDonald gown just doesn’t seem very sophisticated, not to mention the high-low hem is just a trend we can’t get behind. Between the deep cutout neckline and the up-to-there front slit, Selena just doesn’t look all that classy. We have to say, we hoped for more from her.

Oh my. Tyra Banks has certainly made some questionable fashion choices over the years, but we’re really scratching our heads with this one. On August 14, she showed up to the VH1 Do Something Awards wearing a colorblocked jumpsuit by her seamstress Claudia Diaz, which we really don’t like for a number of reasons.

The colors in this jumpsuit are all bright, loud and completely clash with one another. Fuchsia, royal blue and kelly green just aren’t the best combo. Plus, she added mustard-hued shoes—already not one of our favorite shades, but couldn’t she have worn a shoe that matched one of the colors in the jumpsuit to tie it together a bit better?

Not to mention the jumpsuit just really doesn’t do wonders for Tyra’s figure. The one-shouldered silhouette makes her look even bustier than she really is, and the high-waisted pant pulls at the hips, making her look extremely wide. It’s just a very ill-fitting piece.

We admire Tyra for what she believes in and how hard she works, but this jumpsuit just wasn’t her finest hour.

We love Kristen Bell’s style, and often feature her on Celebrity Dish in looks we love. The look above, which Kristen wore to the 2011 Artivist Awards Ceremony, is not one of them. While we think each piece of her look works separately, we just don’t think it looks great together. Lace and prints worn next to each other is simply too busy. We’re hoping if she wears this look again she wears a solid skirt or a solid blouse.

Oh, Lacey Schwimmer. We’re dying to take you shopping for some suitable attire … especially after you showed up to host a party in Vegas recently wearing THIS.

Really, Lacey? A lacquered red bra with what looks like swimming floaties, paired with shiny black leggings, way too blonde locks and WAY too much makeup? We’re just … well … confused. And sad. And scared.

We really like Jayma Mays—the Glee star is so adorable and usually looks perfectly polished on the red carpet. But we’re not quite sure what she was thinking at the premiere of the new Smurfs movie in New York last week. The garish green silk minidress, the dark purple pumps, the gold minaudiere, the colorfully flashy brooch, the coral lip … all just seemed to clash and make too many statements at once.

We wish Jayma would have stuck to one or two colors, instead of myriad. Or, at the very least, have worn a dress that was just a bit more toned down.
