Just as Louis Vuitton and Prada celebrate the ladylike allure of 1950s fashion in their fall 2010 collections, OMEGA reintroduces a name from the storied brand’s illustrious past: the Ladymatic. Originally launched in 1955, the Ladymatic watch is the epitome of feminine grace and elegance from this era. One of OMEGA’s first self-winding watches designed especially for women, the Ladymatic was not only a profound fashion statement, but also an example of state-of-the-industry watchmaking innovation.

Now, the stunning face of the new Ladymatic is getting some help from another stunning face: brand ambassador Nicole Kidman. Asked what she thought about OMEGA’s decision to use a name associated with a product launched in the fifties, Kidman said, “There’s something appealing about that type of communication. There’s a fascination with the era which means that the advertisements can be playful without actually turning back the clock. As the Ladymatic watch collection represents state-of-the-industry technology, this campaign is really a sort of wink.”

Here is some behind-the-scenes footage from Nicole Kidman’s Ladymatic campaign shoot:

The watches in the Ladymatic line are crafted in 18 Ct red or yellow gold, or in stainless steel. Some have snow-set diamond-paved bezels and all have polished casebacks with a sapphire crystal that reveals the movement that powers the watch. No matter which is your favorite, all of the watches are seriously stunning additions to a modern wardrobe.

Taylor Swift can work a romantic look like nobody else, and this shot of her wearing a  flutter dolman blouse proves this point. While the blouse looks great with the skinny jeans Taylor is wearing, it would also work great with a skirt.

Emma Roberts is one of young Hollywood’s newest “It” girls, and we aren’t surprised. Not only does she have some great acting chops (it runs in the family with aunt Julia Roberts), she also knows how to heat up the red carpet with modern stylish looks.

Above, we take a look at some of her best looks from last month’s red carpets. At left she works a tight sequined dress by Escada and metallic peep toe shoes, center she dons a textured Monique Lhuillier bustier dress and suede heels, and lastly she delights us in our favorite look, a lilac Catherine Malandrino gown and Diego Dolcini pumps.

We look forward to watching Emma, who is only 19, grow and transform her style even more with the coming years.

Demi Moore looked great on the red carpet for The Gentlemen’s Ball in a gold-laced Balmain minidress, from the line’s fall 2010 ready-to-wear collection, and pointy pumps. We love how Demi always makes things look just as chic off the runway as it does on the runway.
