America Ferrera does not shy away from her hourglass figure. Instead, America embraces her curves with form fitting sheath dresses and chic belts that accentuate her waist. In the first two shots above she plays with cut and color at the Deauville American Film Festival in France, first in a black sheath from Catherine Malandrino, then in a blue belted dress from Black Halo. Lastly, she looks perfectly posh in another dress from Catherine Malandrino at the Imagen Awards.

America reminds us that we should never try to hide in our clothes, and that clothes that flatter your shape never go out of style.

Sarah Jessica Parker makes us wild about roses

Sarah Jessica Parker takes a dress we’re sure we’d be skeptical of on the hanger, and makes it look it look fab at the Diane von Furstenberg show at New York Fashion Week.

Not only do we love the contrasting prints with the roses and the polka dot belt, we also like the way the dress slinks off her shoulder in an effortlessly sexy manner. She finishes the look with a metallic heel and bag that make the whole ensemble sparkle. Instead of wearing a perfectly coiffed look with a dark lip, she instead went for a natural makeup palette and a chic messy hairstyle. When it comes to style, SJP is almost always a do!

Red carpet: 2010 MTV VMA awards

When we realized it was time for the MTV VMA Awards, we naturally prepared ourselves for wild over-the-top ensembles. We were in for a shock! Besides the one or two kooky ensembles, we were bowled over by the glamorous looks we saw grace the pre-show red carpet.

Above, Twilight actress Ashley Greene, Ciara, Rosario Dawson, and model Coco Rocha show off stunning looks. We still can’t get over Ciara, who once rocked mostly b-girl looks, in her flirty lace and feathers number.

Still, our best dressed goes to….

Stephanie Pratt and Lo Bosworth of MTV’s The Hills

Naturally, the two look fab in shimmery gold dresses - which is totally appropriate considering they are two of MTV’s golden girls.

Cat Deeley talks style with Tory Burch

Cat Deeley, host of So You Think You Can Dance, has one of Hollywood’s most talked about wardrobes. Not only does she wear fabulous looks, but she pulls them off with effortless style and panache. That’s why when she talks style we listen.
