Alicia-Keys-Superbowl-Performance-New-Orleans.jpgNaomi-Campbell-Premiere-of-The-Face-New-York-City-Feb-2013.jpg

Azzedine Alaïa’s striking formfitting gown with dramatic fishtail hem has already had two major outings just this week. Alicia Keys first wore the eye-catching creation on the field at the Superdome in New Orleans when she sang the national anthem for the Super Bowl. Her deep red version was accented by a golden Marina B choker. A few days later, Naomi Campbell celebrated the launch of her new Oxygen reality competition show, The Face, in New York City alongside fellow supermodel coaches, Coco Rocha and Karolina Kurkova. Naomi opted for the designer’s white take on the impressive gown and styled her fresh look with a lot of flashy jewelry as well as matching platform sandals. Both ladies managed to pull off the structured piece with relative ease, but Alicia’s understated accessories along with that fiery hue gave her a bit of an edge.

Who do you think wore this Azzedine Alaïa gown best?

Jenna-Elfman-Identity-Thief-Los-Angeles-Premiere-Feb-2013.jpgJenna has shot back into the spotlight recently thanks to her role as a rather modern first lady on the NBC show, 1600 Penn. The former Dharma & Greg star also managed to make an impression on the red carpet at the premiere of Identity Thief in this Nina Ricci floral lace dress with seam detailing from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection. We really like how the actress didn’t shy away when it came to her accessories by finishing off the already bold look with a pair of statement earrings and colorful Gianvito Rossi pumps.

What do you think of Jenna’s most recent red carpet look?

Leslie-Mann-This-is-40-Berlin-Photocall.jpgLeslie headed over to Berlin to promote her film, This Is 40, and selected an interesting Marni look for the photocall. Her Resort 2013 outfit consisted of a brown jacquard blouse with pink collar and vertical stripe accents paired with a belted pleated skirt in a lighter shade of pink. The actress wrapped up the look with the brand’s light brown ankle strap pumps. We have slightly mixed feelings about Leslie’s ensemble. In Marni’s Resort 2013 lookbook, the top and skirt were styled separately with much more dynamic results. Maybe it’s the two distinct tones of pink and brown that make us question the success of this look.

Do you love or hate Leslie’s Marni outfit?

Keri attended the New York City screening of her new FX series, The Americans, late last month decked out in an eye-catching Alexander McQueen ensemble. The actress combined the fashion house’s white silk sleeveless peplum top and shiny stretch leather glove trousers. A pair of black pointed-toe Manolo Blahnik BB pumps finished off the look. Keri’s enviable ensemble will set you back over $2,000, so we’ve come up with a less expensive alternative you can rock on almost any budget.

Chrissy-Teigen-2013-NFL-Honors-Feb-2013.jpgHilaria-Thomas-2013-NFL-Honors-Feb-2013.jpgNina-Dobrev-2012-Teen-Choice-Awards-Universal-City-2012-August-2012.jpg

It’s pretty much the first rule of red carpet fashion; don’t get caught wearing the same dress as another celeb at the same event. That hallowed rule was broken over the weekend at the 2013 NFL Honors, though, when both Chrissy Teigen and Hilaria Thomas attended in J. Mendel’s emerald silk faille dress. There’s no denying the strapless dress featuring a sweetheart neckline as well as an asymmetric peplum accent is lovely, but this isn’t the first time it has made an appearance at an event. Nina Dobrev already rocked the J. Mendel creation back on the pink carpet at last year’s Teen Choice Awards in August, adding in a pair of golden Jimmy Choo platform sandals. Chrissy also capped off her look with Jimmy Choo sandals, while Hilaria sported basic black pumps. Nina definitely gets our vote, but we’re giving the nod to Chrissy when it comes to this past weekend’s red carpet showdown.
