Olivia Williams and Kate Winslet both wore long black dresses with cut-outs to the 2010 BAFTA Awards Sunday night in London. Kate (right) wore a chic and sophisticated Stella McCartney dress with lace insets at the waist. Olivia wore a Catherine Walker dress with sheer cutouts from her toes to her chest, including an overexposed rear end. Olivia’s dress reminds us a bit of Elizabeth Hurley’s famous safety pin Oscar dress, but with less winning results.

Liv Tyler attended the G-Star fashion show this week in NY wearing a chic navy dress with a bright cobalt blue cardigan and matching tights. We love the silhouette of this look, and even love the color combination, but we’re on the fence with her choice of electric blue tights.

Liv is set to appear in G-Star’s upcoming ad campaigns and will serve as “Brand Ambassador” for the denim brand. She sat front row alongside Agyness Deyn, her mother Bebe Buell and pop star Estelle.

What do you think? Would you wear this look?

For every tee purchased, Michael Stars will give a tee to a survivor of violence and abuse and will donate $5 per purchase to the Joyful Heart Foundation.

Sandra Bullock, Vera FarmigaAnna KendrickCarey Mulligan and Kathryn Bigelow stepped out in simple, monochromatic dresses for the  82nd Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon in Beverly Hills on Monday. Interesting cuts in chic neutral shades (with the exception of Vera’s gorgeous cobalt dress) make these knee-length dresses a stylish choice for a daytime affair.

Have you ever seen a better looking (male) celebrity turnout for a fashion show? Lee Pace, Jared Leto, Chace Crawford, Ryan Phillippe, Kellan Lutz and Mechad Brooks made it nearly impossible to concentrate on the Fall 2010 presentation of the Calvin Klein Men’s Collection by Italo Zucchelli at New York Fashion Week.
