The 13th Annual Unforgettable Evening Benefiting the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund, held Wednesday night brought philanthropy and glamour together on the red carpet.

Christina Applegate looked luxe in her pleated satin Dolce & Gabbana sheath, Taylor Swift was stunning one-shouldered Valentino, and Faith Hill looked stunning as always in her black cocktail dress.

Burlesque performer Dita Von Teese attended the Elie Saab fashion show during Paris Fashion Week  in a cobalt body conscious sheath from the designer’s Fall 2009 Collection. Not only is the color electrifying but the fit is all at once both ladylike and sexy.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Moss, and Hillary Duff show signs of wardrobe transition with their looks above. The look, although done in different ways, has become sort of a uniform for some of today’s most stylish celebs in their shift from winter to spring.

In lieu of wearing a big bulky jacket or coat, these ladies wear tailored blazers and cinched boyfriend cardigans. Stylish scarves block the cold and keep them cozy, while the skinny jeans keep the layers streamlined.

Kate Walsh looked casually chic on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Legion in a Jenni Kayne dress, Casadei shoes and vintage jewelry from Stephen Russell. This is a great look that will allow you to look stylish without trying too hard, and is definitely a great look for spring.

We just caught our breath from covering the Golden Globes fashion and now here we are reviewing the beautiful dresses and trends seen on the red carpet at the SAG Awards.

COLOR

Anna Kendrick (in Alberta Ferretti), Diane Kruger ( in Jason Wu), Drew Barrymore (in Monique Lhuillier), Giuliana Rancic, and Lea Michele (Catherine Malandrino) all worked the red carpet in beautiful technicolor hues. We loved all the color, but kudos goes to Diane for finding a dress with the best combination of cut and color.

 ICY HUES

Christina Applegate (in a custom dress), Kate Hudson, and Marion Cotillard (in Elie Saab) looked angelic in their icy hues of light blue and white. What they lacked in color they definitely made up for in detailing. Christina’s dress got glam with Swarvoski Crystals and beading, Kate added drama with shimmery detailing and low back, and Marion shook things up with a feather trimmed dress.

RED DRESSES

Christina Hendricks, Carey Mulligan (in Lanvin), Edie Falco, and Mariah Carey all looked red hot in their scarlet dresses. This color commands attention, and these ladies definitely had ours with their beautifully draped and body conscious dresses.

Can you hardly wait to see the lovely dresses the Oscars will bring? We know we can’t!
