Chloe-Grace-Moretz-Elle-Style-Awards-2013-London.jpgChloë may still be a teenager, but her style sense rivals stars more than twice her age. That’s probably why she just received the Next Future Icon Award at the Elle Style Awards 2013 over in London. The actress wore a black and white striped Stella McCartney long sleeve dress to pick up her award, which was accented by a fun, retro-inspired updo. We actually love the fact that Chloë wasn’t afraid to add in even more stripes in the form of those Christian Louboutin Pivichic pumps.

Do you like the young star’s striped ensemble or should she have opted for more basic footwear to go with such a striking dress?

Helen-Mirren-EE-British-Academy-Film-Awards-2013-London.jpgHelen is universally respected not only for her acting abilities, but also for her elegance when it comes to the red carpet. So imagine the surprise when the Oscar-winning actress showed up to the 2013 BAFTA Awards over in London with pink hair. The usually silver-maned star didn’t do herself any favors by pairing her new hair color with a lined long sleeve Nicholas Oakwell Spring 2013 Couture chiffon creation. Her gray and pink gown featured white honeysuckle silk embroidery and was occasionally covered up by a silver wrap. The muted hue didn’t really play well against her newly brightened mane.

What do you think of Helen’s latest look?

The Grammy Awards celebrated its 55th anniversary this year and the stars were out in full force to help honor the nominees. Cut-out accents, sheer details, the color black and Roberto Cavalli gowns were all popular red carpet choices last night. Glamour prevailed over shock value and several celebs upped the style ante with striking statement jewelry. Here are some of the standout fashions from music’s biggest night.

Carrie Underwood turned heads on the red carpet in this ornate black lace embroidered gown by Roberto Cavalli styled with a diamond statement necklace. Taylor Swift’s white pleated J. Mendel Spring 2013 gown included striking embellished accents. She accessorized with an Ofira ring, Lorraine Schwartz earrings and Jimmy Choo Lance sandals. It was a fiery custom Azzedine Alaïa gown for Rihanna. Neil Lane jewels and Manolo Blahnik heels finished off the look.

Beyoncé skipped a formal gown and went with a Osman black crepe jumpsuit with exaggerated shoulders. Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and a Swarovski clutch polished off the look. Natasha Bedingfield’s embellished Emerson Spring 2013 red gown was accented by a gold belt. Marina B gems rounded out the look. Adele stood out in a red and black embroidered Valentino Spring 2013 Couture dress, which was shortened from the runway.

Katy-Perry-55th-Annual-Grammy-Awards-Los-Angeles.jpgFaith-Hill-55th-Annual-Grammy-Awards-Los-Angeles.jpgNicole-Kidman-55th-Annual-Grammy-Awards-Los-Angeles.jpg

Gucci was behind the green Resort 2013 gown with embellished collar and revealing front keyhole accent Katy Perry wore to the annual awards. Faith Hill shined in this embellished little black dress from J. Mendel’s Pre-Fall 2013 offering. Lorraine Schwartz jewels, a Bottega Veneta clutch and Tom Ford pumps all served as accessories. Nicole Kidman looked lovely in a gold embroidered Vera Wang gown. Fred Leighton gems, a Roger Vivier clutch and L’Wren Scott shoes completed her look.

Rihanna, Carrie Underwood and Adele really impressed us on the red carpet. Which star do you think should be crowned best dressed at this year’s Grammys?

Azzedine Alaïa’s striking formfitting gown with dramatic fishtail hem has already had two major outings just this week. Alicia Keys first wore the eye-catching creation on the field at the Superdome in New Orleans when she sang the national anthem for the Super Bowl. Her deep red version was accented by a golden Marina B choker. A few days later, Naomi Campbell celebrated the launch of her new Oxygen reality competition show, The Face, in New York City alongside fellow supermodel coaches, Coco Rocha and Karolina Kurkova. Naomi opted for the designer’s white take on the impressive gown and styled her fresh look with a lot of flashy jewelry as well as matching platform sandals. Both ladies managed to pull off the structured piece with relative ease, but Alicia’s understated accessories along with that fiery hue gave her a bit of an edge.

Who do you think wore this Azzedine Alaïa gown best?

Jenna-Elfman-Identity-Thief-Los-Angeles-Premiere-Feb-2013.jpgJenna has shot back into the spotlight recently thanks to her role as a rather modern first lady on the NBC show, 1600 Penn. The former Dharma & Greg star also managed to make an impression on the red carpet at the premiere of Identity Thief in this Nina Ricci floral lace dress with seam detailing from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection. We really like how the actress didn’t shy away when it came to her accessories by finishing off the already bold look with a pair of statement earrings and colorful Gianvito Rossi pumps.

What do you think of Jenna’s most recent red carpet look?
