RicciAlaia.jpgQ: Where can I get the red dress Christina Ricci wore to the premiere of Inglorious Basterds?

A: The dress is vintage Azzedine Alaia so unfortunately, you can’t get it.

Of course, one of the most famous fans of Alaia was Cher Horowitz in Clueless (it’s the dress she’s wearing when she gets mugged).

Remember the scene? The mugger tells her to lie down and count to ten so he can make his escape and she says something to the effect of, ‘Oh no, you don’t understand. This is an Alaia.”

AngelinaKors.jpgAngelina Jolie wore a Michael Kors leather number with pockets to the Los Angeles premiere of Inglorious Basterds and we really think she pulls it off better than the model! Better shoes. Better hair. And we really just think it fits her well. She looks like she loved wearing it too, which always helps.
Freidabutterfly.jpgWe used to think wearing butterflies was only for eight-year-olds, but Freida Pinto is changing our mind. But then again, what doesn’t look fabulous on Freida Pinto? We took a closer look at the butterfly trend and were pleasantly surprised to find these chic options that don’t remind us of something we’d see on a Lisa Frank trapperkeeper.

DianeKrugerback.jpgFirst Rachel McAdams wears a Pucci dress that dips awfully low in front, now Diane Kruger wears one of the most daring red carpet dresses StyleBakery has ever seen. It’s Versace Atelier and we happen to think Diane is very brave to wear it. What’s the saying…’If you’ve got it…”

What do you think, is this chic or just shocking?

Oh, Mischa Barton. Michabib.jpgWhy would you attempt the jumpsuit trend when so many before you have failed?

However, we do have to give Mischa snaps for being an early adopter of what we consider to be the next big trend in the making: bib necklaces. Look for these more and more in the fall and into the holiday season.
