Amanda-Seyfried-Dirty-Laundry-Boots-Image-1.jpgWhile we’re accustomed to seeing celebrities wear something different every day, some of them do actually have favorite items they wear again and again. And in the case of Amanda Seyfried, we mean again … and again … and again … and on and on, at least nine times in the past few months! She’s been spotted in multiple cities, in multiple outfits, all with one thing in common: a pair of Dirty Laundry Preview Boots.

Just since September, we’ve counted at least seven outfits that Miss Seyfried teamed with these cool lace-up black moto boots. Some are a bit more sophisticated, some are just tees and jeans—but all have her signature stamp put on them with these boots. Just check out the evidence:

As you’ll notice, she’s worn some of the same other pieces too, like her destroyed blue jeans. But we love that she’s willing to wear things more than once—it makes her much more relatable.

And if you want your own pair of Dirty Laundry Preview boots, you can buy them for $79.99 at chineselaundry.com.

Berenice-Marlohe-Skyfall-Cast-Photocall-New-York-City-Oct-2012.jpgPenlope-Cruz-Venuto-Al-Mondo-Photocall-Rome-November-2012.jpgKirsten-Dunst-On-The-Road-New-York-premiere-Dec-2012.jpg

One of the many perks of being famous is the sheer amount of wardrobe choices most celebs have access to on a regular basis. Recently, several stars have opted out of wearing traditional dresses, gowns or even pants and instead selected designer coats for various photocalls and premieres. Bérénice Marlohe started the trend back in October when she posed for photographers at the Skyfall New York City photocall in a Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2012 military coat complete with gold buttons. She rounded out the look with a pair of Tod’s brown leather and suede boots. Next up was Penélope Cruz in November at the Venuto Al Mondo photocall in Rome. The Spanish actress combined this black leather double-breasted Versace trench with black Jimmy Choo Eros pumps. Kirsten Dunst hit the New York premiere of her film, On the Road, just last week decked out in a navy Christian Dior Spring 2013 coat-style dress. Black tights and coordinating satin sandals with contrasting pink metallic straps from the same collection wrapped up the look.

We’re not really sure how to feel about this apparent trend, but we like the simple sophistication of Kirsten’s Christian Dior creation.

Busy-Philipps-19th-Annual-Screen-Actors-Guild-Awards-Nominees-Announcement.jpgThe pregnant Cougar Town star had a busy morning on Wednesday announcing the nominees for the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards alongside Taye Diggs. At such a high-profile event, sophisticated is definitely the way to go, but Busy’s revealing Carven navy silk and lace dress with flared skirt didn’t quite fit the occasion. She’s practically busting out of the dress thanks to that strategically placed keyhole detail and the addition of a skinny red belt is really only drawing more attention to her bustline. The slightly outdated styling of having her belt match those red satin Giuseppe Zanotti pumps isn’t helping things, either. Busy has become known for her rather Bohemian style and we think that free-spirited nature suits her much better than this more coordinated ensemble.

What do you think of Busy’s look?

Anna-Faris-Jessica-Chastain-Lace.jpgLace was big on the red carpet at the premiere of Zero Dark Thirty this week. Both Jessica Chastain and Anna Faris stepped out in very different takes on the trend.

Jessica wore a dress by Elie Saab with sheer lace across the bust—a very daring choice! She teamed it with Charlotte Olympia shoes and Harry Winston jewelry.

Anna’s dress looked like a wedding dress to us, not that that’s a bad thing! It’s definitely more demure than Jessica’s version. She complemented her Tadashi Shoji dress with bold gold chandelier earrings.

What do you think of the lace frocks these ladies were wearing?
Anne-Hathaway-New-York-Premiere-Les-Miserables.jpgWhen Anne hit the red carpet Monday night for the New York premiere of Les Misérables, all eyes were on her glamorous Tom Ford Spring 2013 jet black taffeta caped masterpiece. Then she stuck out her leg to reveal the designer’s intense over-the-knee sandal boots. We’re not really sure how to feel about such graphic custom-made vegan footwear, especially when paired with an already extraordinary gown. Anne’s hair, makeup, and Fred Leighton jewels are all flawless, but we can’t seem to get past her boots, which could have been initially mistaken for fashion-forward leg braces. Perhaps we would appreciate Tom Ford’s unique creations a bit more paired with a different outfit. Anne has been taking quite a few risks lately and we certainly commend her for it, but still feel she might have missed the mark on this one.

So, what do you think of Anne’s unconventional footwear choice?
