Looks We’d Like To Forget
The three most show-stopping looks of the night were all strapless gowns with full skirts. Anne Hathaway (Armani Prive), Drew Barrymore (Dior by John Galliano) and Amy Adams (Oscar de la Renta) all wore the look well. And we’re surprised to name Drew our best dressed of the night. Her powder blue dress was the perfect blend of modern and vintage-inspired and her hair really complemented the look. Gorgeous.
Honorable Mention Goes To…
Eva Mendes (Dior), Kyra Sedgwick (Oscar de la Renta), Cameron Diaz (Chanel Haute Couture), Kate Beckinsale (J. Mendel) and Demi Moore all opted for solid, subtle and sweet dresses. We thought they ALL looked exceptionally beautiful.
Looks We’d Like To Forget
Debra Messing’s dress looked dated and Jenna Fischer should really stop wearing prints to award shows. Beyonce’s dress is nice, but looks (and we hate to say this)…a little tight. We actually like Maggie Gyllenhaal’s Lanvin dress, but it was the wrong dress for this event. Lastly, Rene Zellweger’s dress might look better in person, but we’re not feeling it in this photo.
In their new movie, Bride Wars, Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson face off as dueling bridezillas. So naturally we were excited to see what they would wear to the film’s premiere. We love Kate’s dress! And her minimal jewelry and soft hairstyle complements the look. Anne’s hair is a little severe (we’re not a fan of her new extensions) and wish she would have chosen a softer look for this fun comedy.
Kate Bosworth wears her Chloe Saskia bag and Chloe boots so over and over again. And when she doesn’t wear the boots, she wears another pair of Chloes.photo via justjared
