Alicia Silverstone is known for her activism. She’s vegan and an animal-lover. So we always pay close attention to the shoes she wears to red carpet events.

Stella McCartney shoes are marked “suitable for vegetarians” on the bottom and have been made out of raffia in the past and Natalie Portman has a vegan shoe line of her own…

These shoes appear to be maybe satin wrapped? What do you think? Who makes them? And are they chic or trying too hard?
JennyHerve.jpgWe have another star to add to our list of favorite (and not-so-favorite) Herve Leger looks. Jenny McCarthy definitely wears our favorite Herve look to date. While all of the two-tone dresses have been on the bottom of our list, we love this dress.

KatieAmanda.jpg

Amanda Peet rolled up the cuffs to her jeans, just like Katie Holmes has done at least six times, but we’re not loving the look.

Maybe it’s because she’s wearing heels and not flats like Katie? Or that they appear to be perfectly cuffed instead of bunched and twisted like Katie’s. Or they might just be rolled up one turn too many…

We’re loving her sophisticated full skirt look.

LaurenFergieSophiaHayden.jpg
Lauren Conrad, Fergie, Sophia Bush and Hayden Panettiere all wore long printed maxi dresses to the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. We first spotted this trend worn often by Nicole Richie back in June.
