Wes Gordon’s Spring 2013 collection was full of colorful swan prints and celebs are definitely flocking to these imaginative designs. Katy Perry opted for this spaghetti strap full-length dress at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event last month. Just a few days later, Mad Men star January Jones also embraced the swan theme at the 41st Annual Peace Over Violence Humanitarian Awards in one of the designer’s seasonal creations. Her printed dress featured an asymmetrical hem and striking lace insets. This feathered frenzy didn’t just take off with Wes Gordon’s collection, though. Dakota Fanning actually picked up on the emerging trend over the summer in this playful Topshop cutout swan print bralet and matching skirt.

So, would you wear this trend?

Olivia-Palermo-Blue-Shoes.jpgWe love to see celebrities recycling the items in their closets. And Olivia Palermo has stepped out on more than one occasion recently in the same fun cobalt suede shoes! She was spotted in them not once but twice within the last week, once at an event for Harvey Nichols (we love the short-sleeved cowlneck white coat she teamed them with) and another time at the launch of Savannah (we’re loving her military blazer).

Solange-Knowles-HM-Store-Opening-Mexico-City.jpg

Solange proved her enviable style prowess once again in Mexico City as she served as DJ at a celebration for the latest H&M store. The multitalented star hit the red carpet in a bold patterned H&M top and skirt combination. What really makes us love her colorful outfit, though, is its versatility and extremely acceptable price. This pleated silk blouse retails for just $59.95, while the fitted pencil skirt with beaded front embellishment is a reasonable $69.95. Both work equally well as standout separates in addition to an eye-catching ensemble. A pair of orange and purple Fendi sandals perfectly polished off the look, but these designer creations are definitely more of an investment.

Do you adore Solange’s H&M look as much as we do?

The stars came out Wednesday night for this year’s edition of the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards. The event is put on by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, so it wasn’t surprising that several celebs opted for British designers. Olivia Munn sparkled in this golden Temperley London Pre-Fall 2012 dress with contrasting white hem and Asprey jewelry. Kerry Washington also wore a gown from Temperley London’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection. Her bright fuchsia creation with triple bow accent brought a nice pop of color to the red carpet. Bérénice Marlohe selected a gown by American-based designer, Oscar de la Renta. Like Olivia, the French actress stood out in gold and paired her embellished collared gown with statement jewelry in the form of Amrapali earrings and a Le Vian ring.

We’re impressed with all three red carpet looks, but if you had to pick just one, which would be your favorite?

Demi-Lovato-Taylor-Swift-Red-Dresses.jpgRecently, we told you about the trend of pink dresses with matching lips. Well, now we’re here to tell you about another trend: red dresses with matching lips! We love the boldness of these two looks, but the fact that they somehow still seem girly and cute.

Demi Lovato went for a subtly edgier take on the trend in a red minidress, which she teamed with a studded black leather jacket and peep-toe pumps. We’re loving her high bun, too.
Taylor Swift embraced her flirtier side in a flared knee-length dress, nude pumps and flowy waves.

What do you think of wearing a red dress with a matching lip? Would you try it?
