Anna Wintour

annawintour.jpg

Whoa! Is it just us, or does Christina Ricci’s new hairdo make her look like Vogue editor, Anna Wintour? Christina arrived at the DKNY Delicious Night Fragrance Launch Party in NYC looking great in a stunning red dress. We still can’t get past the haircut though. Love it or hate it?

Katharine McPhee January Jones

Katharine McPhee and January Jones are both crazy about this green tunic-length dress…so much so that they both wore it to the SAME event last weekend, the Tao Las Vegas 2nd Anniversary Weekend Celebration. Yipes!!

Katharine wore the dress with bare legs and pointy-toe heels and January wore trendy navy blue tights with peep-toe heels. Both ladies kept their jewelry simple, but January definitely went for a more eclectic vibe with her unique bag and chunky bracelets. Katharine opted for a more sleek look with her very straight tresses. Which was best??

Gwen Stefani Christian Louboutin

In typical fashion, Gwen Stefani looked amazing at the Conde Nast 4th Annual Black Ball Concert for ‘Keep A Child Alive’ in New York City. We love everything about her ensemble, but are particularly smitten with her Christian Louboutin T-straps. They have the same black shredded suede design as this ankle boot (also by Louboutin). Stunning!

Christian Louboutin shoes are known for their shiny red soles and also often feature large-scale embellishments like bows or ruffles (or in this case, frayed material). These ankle boots are definitely trendy, but they’re also basic and refined enough to invest in and wear for many, many seasons. If you can manage the hefty price tag (um….$1,195!), they’re yours for the taking at net-a-porter.com.

Update! If you’re really thinking about taking the plunge, you can save yourself $50 by ordering from Saks Fifth Avenue where they’re $1,145. Of course, if you’re spending that much on shoes, $50 probably isn’t too big of a deal. Happy shopping!

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson hawks her own line of handbags and shoes at Macy’s in New York City. We’re still not convinced singers and actresses make the best fashion designers, but Jessica has had moderate success with her shoes (remember those red patent espadrilles with the cork heel? Everyone had those!). We love the look of these three shoes, but we aren’t crazy about her look. Her dress is cut too low for daytime (and looks pretty wrinkled) and she has way too much makeup on.

1. Jessica Simpson Brenda Pump in black, $59.99 (on sale) at macys.com
2. Jessica Simpson Aiden Pump (available in black), $44.50 (on sale) at macys.com
3. Jessica Simpson Gafna Boot, $189 at macys.com

Jessica Stam

Jessica Stam, an in-demand model who just finished up a season of runway shows, attended the Angel Ball in NYC benefiting cancer research. Being a model, Jessica is surrounded by style and certainly has her own. Her dress is a modern print in a classic shape. We’re fans.
