Cat Deeley Smythson Nancy

So You Think You Can Dance
host, Cat Deeley was recently spotted carrying a black Nancy Bag by Smythson. This bag is the hottest high-luxury bag this season and is available in black, brown and white and comes in three different sizes, including clutch. Cat’s bag is pricey: the large Nancy bag costs £950 British Pounds (about $1,980). Check out the entire Nancy Collection at smythson.com.

Hyori Lee

Hyori Lee, a popular singer from South Korea, recently filmed a commercial in New York City in this adorable outfit. Her layering is really clever actually, especially for that tricky time of year (right now) when it’s too cold to not bundle up, but a coat isn’t really necessary. Hyori…well, probably her stylist, used her accessories to keep covered up and warm. We especially love the Jefferey Campbell boots we found and the scarf from oldnavy.com.

Cate Blanchett

We tried really hard to like the dress Cate Blanchett wore to the Elizabeth The Golden Age premiere at the Rome Film Festival. Really hard. It has all the makings of a risky fashion statement: bold color combination and a unique silhouette, but the fit and shape of this dress on Cate is awful.

If you look closely, it looks like the dress is about to fall down. It’s a good three inches lower than it should be. And the bustle-like draping of green fabric makes Cate look impossibly large around the middle. Try putting your hand to your computer screen and blocking the dress off right above her knees and you’ll see the voluminous shape of the dress could have looked fashion forward if it cut off in a short tulip skirt, but no, it cascades to the ground in an odd little puddle.

First there was this dress, and now this one. She’d better turn it around for the Oscars!!

Rachel Ray

Rachel Ray looked cute as a button at the City Harvest ‘Bid Against Hunger’ benefit in New York City. But why so covered up Rach? We think the key to pulling off suede boots with a busy wrap dress like this one is showing a little arm and a little knee. Wear the clothes. Don’t let the clothes wear you.

Manuela Velles stars in a new film, Caotica Ana, previewed at the recent Rome Film Festival in Italy. We love the deep green color of her dress. The holiday season is definitely here. Many retailers are bringing out emerald green party frocks. Check these six out.
