Christine Taylor supported her husband, Ben Stiller, at the Los Angles premiere of his new movie, The Heartbreak Kid. We’re nostalgic for Christine’s Hey Dude days, but happy to see her looking so fabulous on the red carpet. Everything about her outfit is textbook. She paired her sweetheart neckline with d’orsay pumps, a simple clutch, long earrings and a bracelet. It was a good idea to keep her hair back and opt for no necklace. Way to go!

Who’s that chic Hollywood newcomer? It’s English actress, Amara Karan, who is making her silver-screen debut in Wes Anderson’s film, The Darjeeling Limited. Karan, here at the movie’s New York City premiere, stars alongside Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson and Jason Schwartzman in the film about three brothers traveling across India by train. Bill Murray and Anjelica Huston can also be seen in the film, which will be shown in a limited number of theaters beginning October 5th.
This may be Amara’s first movie role, but she’s is certainly no newcomer to fashion. Her stylish outfit is classic and subtle, without being boring. She’s getting great reviews for her on-screen performance and we have to give her movie-premiere ensemble a great review as well.
While she’s not wearing much in the advertisement…Hilary Swank looks impeccable In London, England as the face of the new fragrance, Insolence by Guerlain. Hilary perfectly mixes a vintage hourglass silhouette with modern glamour and we love it! The length of her skirt balances the asymmetrical neckline and her crocodile handbag is definitely in line with fall’s bag trends: large, but structured.
Insolence is a floral/fruity scent features top notes of raspberries, orange blossom, violets, iris and roses. And it’s described as irreverent and defiant….bold words for a perfume. We’d definitely be interested in trying it.

Swank is just one of many actresses to promote designer fragrances lately (Keira Knightley for Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel and Beyonce for Diamonds by Armani), while songstresses seem to create their own scents (Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey). The only actress/perfumer we can think of is Sarah Jessica Parker. Can you come up with any others?
Demi Moore recently wore this interesting dress at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain to promote her new movie, Flawless. Her hair and makeup are, in fact, flawless, but the dress looks like it was borrowed from a wedding in the early 1980s. The big bow is a daring statement, but not when it’s fashioned out of organza. And we thought no one could top the size of Jenna Fischer’s bow!
Emma Watson was at the National Movie Awards in London, England with her Harry Potter co-stars and sported a youthful-yet-sophisticated cornflower blue shirtdress and cobalt blue patent leather heels. Pairing two different shades of blue together is such a simple-but-great idea and Emma looks adorable in it. The key to duplicating this look is to contrast your blue dress with a pair of patent leather shoes in another shade of blue. Although we have to say it….we prefer Emma’s version best!
