Gwyneth-Paltrow-Los-Angeles-Premiere-of-Iron-Man-3-April-2013.jpgJaimie-Alexander-Los-Angeles-Premiere-of-Iron-Man-3-April-2013.jpgCobie-Smulders-Los-Angeles-Premiere-of-Iron-Man-3-April-2013.jpg

The Iron Man 3 Los Angeles premiere brought out a bevy of stars on Wednesday night. All eyes were definitely on Gwyneth Paltrow on the red carpet courtesy of her revealing Antonio Berardi Fall 2013 ensemble featuring kimono sleeves and sheer skirt panels. She capped off her look with white Christian Louboutin Dufoura platform sandals. Jaimie Alexander stood out in a lovely yellow Marc Bouwer gown with an embellished cut-out accent on the bodice. She accessorized with a pair of Rupert Sanderson gold mirror Mion sandals. It was a red draped Halston dress for Cobie Smulders at the premiere. Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, a gold Gucci clutch and coordinating Jimmy Choo peep-toes rounded out the look.

Temperley London was behind Emily VanCamp’s embellished Fall 2013 dress. The Revenge actress accessorized with a clutch by Nancy Gonzalez and Robert Clergerie Querrye sandals. Kat Dennings went with Dolce & Gabbana. Her floral and lace dress was amped up by her bold lip color. Bella Thorne made quite a statement in this printed Katie Ermilio Spring 2013 crop top and peplum skirt. A dramatic top knot and statement necklace wrapped up her look.

We loved Jaimie’s bold Marc Bouwer, but have to give Gwyneth a lot of credit for her truly daring Antonio Berardi look. Who was your favorite from the Iron Man 3 red carpet?

Drew-Barrymore-Running-errands-New-York-City-March-2013.jpgJessica-Alba-filming-a-commercial-Santa-Monica-April-2013.jpg

Jennifer Meyer may be married to Tobey Maguire, but she has managed to make a name for herself thanks to her personalized jewelry line. The designer’s latest must-have offering, a nameplate statement necklace, has already been spotted on an extensive list of stars. Drew Barrymore wore her necklace while running errands in New York City late last month and also proudly displayed the piece during her appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Jessica Alba recently tweeted about her necklace, which she had engraved with the names of her two daughters. The busy mom even wore her new necklace for a commercial shoot in Santa Monica earlier this week. That same day on the other end of the country, Rihanna was snapped leaving a New York City restaurant with her nameplate prominently displayed. Reese Witherspoon, Alyson Hannigan and Kim Kardashian are all documented fans of the necklace.

We’re also coveting our own nameplate necklace, although its $1,150 to $1,285 asking price has us temporarily placing this luxury item on our wish list instead of around our necks.

Amanda-Peet-2013-Tribeca-Film-Festival-Premiere-of-Trust-Me.jpgBack in December, we highlighted the fact that many celebs were opting to wear coats as dresses and apparently Amanda is trying to keep the trend going into spring. The actress attended the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival screening of Trust Me in New York City on Saturday wearing a striped navy and black Band of Outsiders Fall 2013 blazer dress. In theory, this really could have been a chic look, but it somehow comes across as too boxy thanks to those exaggerated shoulders. Amanda’s all-black accessories, including black tights, a gold-trimmed Smythson suede clutch and matching pumps, weighed down the look instead of elevating the ensemble.

Do you think Amanda missed the mark here with her striped blazer dress?

Natalie-Portman-and-Benjamin-Millepied-69th-Annual-Golden-Globe-Awards-Beverly-Hills-Jan-2012.jpgDoutzen-Kroes-Tiffany-Co-Blue-book-Ball-New-York-City-April-2013.jpg

When a celeb wears a dramatic gown on the red carpet at an award show, that gown is forever associated with that star. That’s exactly what happened to Natalie Portman back in January 2012 at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards. She made quite an impact in a strapless fuchsia Lanvin duchess silk satin creation with pleated bustle train and red accent on the bodice. A red clutch and Jimmy Choo Macy sandals wrapped up her memorable look. So, we were a bit surprised to see Doutzen Kroes in the exact same silk gown last Thursday at the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball in New York City. The Victoria’s Secret model accessorized with diamond jewelry and a matching pair of satin platform pumps.

Natalie’s the clear winner here, not only because she wore it first, but because her elegant styling made the gown even more remarkable. Do you side with the Oscar winner on this one or do you think Doutzen held her own?

Sandra-Bullock-CinemaCon-2013-Day-4-20th-Century-Fox-Press-Conference-Photocall-Las-Vegas-April-2013.jpgSandra made an appearance at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last week to promote The Heat and opted for a rather graphic look from Roland Mouret. The actress wore the designer’s black Bendals halter top featuring white accents and an open back partnered with coordinating Lomelo trousers. Gold bangles and a black pair of Rupert Sanderson Elba pumps served as accessories. We actually really like this crisp outfit on Sandra, but just wish the pants fit a bit better.

Are you a fan of the star’s black and white ensemble?
