The cast of the popular ’60s-themed AMC show hit the red carpet Wednesday night to mark the new season. January Jones opted for a rather summery blue and ivory Jonathan Saunders Spring 2013 chiffon dress with sheer panel. A silver pair of sandals by Christian Louboutin wrapped up her look. It was a bright pink and turquoise printed Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2013 creation for Jessica Paré at the premiere. She capped off her look with black Casadei for Prabal Gurung white cap-toe pumps. L’Wren Scott was the source of the black velvet Fall 2012 dress Christina Hendricks wore for the big event. The actress added some color with red velvet pumps and finished off the look with a black satin L.K.Bennett Amelia clutch.

Our vote for best dressed goes to Jessica and her vibrant Prabal Gurung. So, whose style were you mad for at the premiere?

Alexandra-Daddario-Los-Angeles-Premiere-of-The-Host-March-2013.jpgThe actress certainly stood out at the Los Angeles premiere of The Host on Tuesday night. Alexandra’s Jay Godfrey Pre-Fall 2013 textured mini dress had a lot going on from its vibrant hue to that center cut-out detail and peplum accent. She completed her bold look with jewelry by Marina B and a black pair of Pollini T-strap sandals. We admire Alexandra for trying to be fashion-forward, but she may have attempted to juggle too many trends at once with this outfit.

Do you give the star points for not playing it safe or a failing grade for sporting such a complex look?

Roland Mouret has been a go-to designer for celebs for several seasons now, but it appears there’s one particular dress by the designer dominating the red carpet. Samantha Barks was the first to wear this architectural Spring 2013 black and green halter creation at the 2013 London Critics’ Circle Film Awards back in January. The Les Misérables actress capped off her look with silver Jimmy Choo Anouk pumps. Karolina Kurkova opted for the white and emerald version the following month accented by two-tone Christian Louboutin Paulina pumps. She actually had the structured dress pulling double duty by not only sporting it for her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, but also wearing the polished piece to the Hollywood Domino and Bovet 1822 Pre-Oscar Gala later that same night. Natalie Dormer is the latest star to select Roland Mouret’s crisp dress. She attended the Game of Thrones Los Angeles premiere and wrapped up her look with Jennifer Meyer jewelry along with black satin Rupert Sanderson Elba pumps.

We think this one is a three-way tie since the dynamite dress looks pretty sensational on all three ladies.

Zoe-Saldana-2nd-Annual-25-Most-Powerful-Stylists-Luncheon-Los-Angeles.jpgZoe attended the 2nd Annual 25 Most Powerful Stylists Luncheon last week in West Hollywood and charmed in this cut-out Carven creation. Her white Spring 2013 dress featured a red safari print and was styled with a pair of black Jimmy Choo Dream sandals. We love all the dynamic details this look has to offer, including those tassel accents on her Jimmy Choos.

Are you as impressed by Zoe’s luncheon look as we are?

There’s no denying that Jessica has evolved into a bit of a fashion maven. She was a front row fixture at the recent Fall 2013 shows over in Paris and consistently earns praise for both her street style as well as her red carpet fashion. Even though Jessica clearly loves experimenting when it comes to style, she always seems to favor graphic pants.

Take the multicolored pair from Fendi she sported to a book signing at Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadena on Saturday. She rounded out the look with a black top from the fashion house along with colorful Elizabeth and James Stella Loafer pumps. Earlier in the week, the star was making the rounds in New York City decked out in Jenni Kayne’s black and blue floral printed pants. Jenni Kayne was also the source of her pale blue blouse, while her blazer was by Michael Kors. Accessories included a Roger Vivier Prismick Zig Zag shoulder bag and black flats as she opted to carry her white Christian Louboutin pumps. Jessica also embraces printed pants out of the public eye. When she visited an office building in Santa Monica last month, she topped off her Citizens of Humanity Avedon skinny jeans in a fantastic Chinoiserie print with Carrera sunglasses and an olive jacket.

Jessica may have a well-documented affinity for illustrative pants, but at least she knows how to successfully style the often tricky pieces and we almost always love the results.
