Fall fashion craving: the bomber jacket

Blazers and bomber jackets may fall at opposite ends of the fashion spectrum–one professional and proper, one casual and cool–but they both serve as major transformational wardrobe staples. Whether you’re wearing jeans and a tee or a pencil skirt and heels, the addition of one of these toppers totally changes the feel of the entire look. Right now, bomber jackets are topping my own list of must-haves for fall, and it’s the unexpected fabrications that are drawing me in. In tweed, lace or sequins, this fall’s bomber style may even trump the blazer since it can go from work to weekend activities without a hitch. Of course, as the style below show, the sporty feel is still spot on for the season.
