Kitschy-cute: lemon print styles for summer

While visiting Lake Garda in Italy just days ago, I was struck by the number of well-dressed women wearing lemon print ensembles. The fabrics were bright, summery and surprisingly chic for such a seemingly kitschy print. Luckily for the rest of us, this pretty print isn’t reserved just for Europeans this season. From Dolce & Gabbana (astronomically expensive but so gorgeous) to Ann Taylor (ultra-affordable), there are tops, skirts, swimwear and accessories in all sorts of lemon print styles this season. The key to wearing such a bold print is, as usual, moderation. Try a crisp white shirt with a lemon print circle skirt or toughen up the sweet look with chunky sandals and jewelry. Even easier, try a grown-up romper like the Shades of Grey style featured below.
