The post-baby body should be something we’re proud of. After all, creating a tiny human is a pretty super feat. At some point, though, most of us feel a little self conscious about our physiques. Even moms who bounce back to their pre-pregnancy weight fast often find that they have a little less tone in their tummies (I presently fall in this category) or that their hips are a bit wider than they remembered. Instead of beating ourselves up about it, we should just seek out styles that make us look and feel fantastic a la the ruched dress. Although the styles featured below look rather body-con, they’re amazingly flattering thanks to the ruching and shirring around the tummy, hip and thigh region. Rather than adding girth to perceived trouble spots, a ruched dress will skim over said spots, making you look impossibly chic and fit. And who doesn’t want that?
