Your next go-to shoe for spring: the sneaker

For those of us who chase seemingly superhuman toddlers around all day, there is an unspoken wish that yoga pants and sneakers would become the height of fashion one day. Well, consider your wish partially granted. Over the past several months, retro-style sneakers–high and low tops–have been showing up on major fashion players. Finally, sneakers in public are no longer just tolerated, they’re appreciated. To be clear, we aren’t talking about your white leather cross trainers. Think Chuck Taylors and ’80s-reminiscent basketball high tops with modern edge. They may feel out of your comfort zone at first but think about how comfortable (er, stylish) you’ll be running errands this spring.
